“Bachelor in Paradise” – Episode 4 Recap, Adopting a New Dog, & Epsiode #4 of the “He Said, She Said” Podcast with Ashley Spivey

John, Caroline, & Jubilee

We’ve seen John go on dates with both women. We saw him get excited about each one. He made out with both, complimented both, and basically the show never gave us any hints as to who was sticking around. However, during filming, Caroline basically spoiled it herself by only being gone from social media for a couple days, so if you were following then, you kinda knew Caroline didn’t make a connection with anyone and John was giving his rose to Jubilee last night.

Chris & Krystal

They essentially solidified their feelings for each other last night once the Tia drama ended. Although, the things Chris was saying to her was basically paraphrased from what he told Tia a few episodes earlier. He didn’t really change up his language much and yet Krystal seemed enamored by it. Even though Paradise is a different atmosphere than being on the “Bachelor/ette,” it still has a “bubble” about it to where it’s nailed into your head that you’re there to fall in love. I mean, how many contestants have we heard say that they’re there to find love when we all know that’s not the real reason they’re there? Too many to count. So I wonder if people watch it back after they’re out of the bubble if they realize, “Oh geez. Man, I was blinded by what was really going on.” Who knows, but if you’re Krystal, you’d be naïve not to have questions about Chris at this point. We know what happens at the end with them, but I’m saying now as she watches it, the optics aren’t good. Does she take it into consideration or just make excuses for her fiancé? We’ll see I guess.

Rose Ceremony

Most of these are just a formality at this point. So many obvious ones.

Jordan gave his rose to Jenna
David to Chelsea
Kevin to Astrid
Chris to Krystal
John to Jubilee
Joe to Kendall
Colton to Tia
Eric to Angela
Kenny to Annaliese

This sent Bibiana, Caroline, Nysha, and Jacqueline home.

Tonight is going to be one giant sh** show. You’ve got the Tia/Colton double date with Raven & Adam where Raven basically tells Tia she needs to do better than Colton. Leo comes on and wrecks havoc on the Joe/Kendall relationship because, well, Leo & Kendall were talking pre-show already. And now knowing what an ass Leo has been on social media post show, I’m guessing people will have a field day with his performance. Then you’ve got the alumni returning for some fake Telenovela thing they filmed. Ben, Arie & Lauren, Amanda come back for some sort of, I don’t know, free vacation I guess? It’s nothing more than finding a way to shoe horn past fan favorites into the season. It doesn’t play into anything that happens on the show from what I know. I thought it was to give date cards, but that’s not what happens. It’s really silly from what I heard. Enjoy.

Jordan’s outfit perfectly matched his actions – infantile. Jordan is so insecure, which I’ve said before it was just really, really apparent last night. Jenna should run for the hills, his actions were a major red flag.

Annaliese should have DESPERATE tattooed on her forehead.

Sorry to see Bibi go, I like her.

Colton is a hot mess and Tia isn’t far behind.

    Chris is a creep.

Kenny is killing me; Dude is way enjoying his time in BIP!

David still needs to just go.

My problem with the show this season is the women are really being portrayed and actually saying such desperate things about wanting to be engaged. Like really sis, you actually came on this show thinking if all goes well, I’ll walk away with an engagement ring? It’s a sad portrayal and makes me sad for them.

Jordan was likable for a moment (as funny commentary) but not after last night. He’s a douche and his Nazi haircut and big ol’ butt are not a good look for a model. Kenny doesn’t impress me. Grocery Joe clearly has no personality since they never show him. David is the guy in high school that always sucked up to the teacher. Chris is just gross. Venmo John – sorry……boring!!!

I have found the season so far to be very boring, and it seems even more scripted than usual. And a few of the people I liked are already gone, Bibi, Jacqueline and Wills.

OMG! This show is pathetic! The men are players and douche bags. The women are just so freaking desperate to be part of the next super couple that they will take anything with a dick that gives them any attention whatsoever. They appear to have no standards other than a dick and attention. Nothing more. Annalise will clearly get engaged to just anyone who’s willing.

I so agree with all of you! And last night I was SO disappointed in Kendall, running off with Leo and hurting Grocery Store Joe. She was one of the only non-desperate women in Paradise. Wonder how she (and all the women who ogled him last night) are feeling after the recent accusations against Leo. Are they spiking the drinks with special “kool-aid” ???? All the women seemed to have lost their minds! And, none of the men are impressing me either.
