Bachelor Colton Spoilers

“He Said, She Said” Podcast w/ Ashley Spivey – Episode 10 & the First “Bachelor” Trailer

I know what you’re all coming here for today. It’s not here. Every year it’s the same thing, yet every year I’m amazed at how many people just days after the finale is filmed, is expecting answers. Of course, it didn’t help matters that the first promo aired last night (linked below) which brought up the question I’ve been asked 1,000 times in the last 12 hours which is “Why is Colton jumping a fence.” That I don’t know. But what I do know without fail, is every season when they run the first promo of the season, there’s one point in the clip where something seems overly dramatic and it ends up being a whole lotta nothing. Or better yet, a lot of times it doesn’t even end up getting shown during the season. So while Colton jumping a fence seems important, I’d tell you to tap the brakes on that one. The numerous examples from past seasons are proof of that. Have I heard the ending? Yes. Do I know it to be 100% solid and gotten the confirmation I need? No. So I’m just waiting on that. Once I know for sure and feel confident enough to run with it, then I’ll post it. Continuing to ask “Who does Colton choose” over and over and over and over again does nothing. Just like every season, when I’ve confirmed with enough sources, then you’ll get it. You will get your spoilers just like you do every single season. The season ended filming 5 days ago. It’s ok if you don’t have it within a week. I remember the days when I’d release it two weeks after filming ended and no one said a word and were actually grateful. Oh do I long for those days.

Music written by Kate Bass

In Episode 10, Ashley and I begin by talking about the money dance at weddings, something she’s never heard of before whereas I’ve been to 3 or 4 weddings that had them. Our first caller, Stephanie in CA, joins us to talk about how her boyfriend of three years has a best friend who has never liked her (2:48). Then we have a first, as we get our first male caller to the show, Patrick in Nashville, who is a sexual assault survivor from college and wants to tell his story (23:50). Original theme music provided by Kate Bass and the song is titled “Blink.”

So in case you missed it, here was the first trailer for the season last night that aired during “DWTS.” If you want to put names to all the faces you saw in the video, it would be quicker to scroll my Twitter feed from last night to see every woman identified who appeared in the trailer. Much easier that way.

There is stuff coming when I post the episode-by-episode spoilers that I don’t think you’ll expect. It’s probably one of the bigger stories this franchise has had to be honest. Going to be a major thing talked about pretty much most of the season once it’s shown on the show. Just be patient. It’s coming. I think you’d rather have me be right than to just throw sh** against a wall and hope it sticks. Making sure what I was told is correct, that’s all.
