You know I don’t like recording podcasts too early before Thursday in case news breaks before then. Well, that happened with this podcast as late last night, Brendan apologized on his IG for everything that happened Monday night. All of last night’s podcast had already been recorded so there wasn’t anything I could do, so, if you want to hear my thoughts on it, go to my IGTV on Instagram and check out the latest video on there. In the meantime, we’re joined by one of my favorite guests this week, Kristen Baldwin, TV critic at EW.com to discuss all things BIP. We do spend a good amount of time talking about the Brendan/Pieper situation, Joe/Kendall, and overall how the show has appeared this season. Then the last half of the podcast we talk about some of the other reality and scripted shows happening now or upcoming (Big Brother talk from last nights episode is included, so if you haven’t watched yet, you’ve been warned). If you’d like to respond to the interview, please include Kristen’s Twitter handle (@KristenGBaldwin) in your replies. Thanks again to Kristen for coming on. Love chatting TV with her any chance I can get.

(SPOILERS) I begin by talking about the Brenden/Pieper situation from Monday and what’s happened since (Episode was recorded before Brendan’s IG apology last night). Then Kristen joins me (11:50) to discuss BIP this season, the rotating hosts, the power couples, and what the show has become. Then we discuss other reality shows and scripted shows currently airing or upcoming on different platforms.
