Another great podcast this week with the two co-stars of Fox’s reboot “Joe Millionaire,” Steven McBee and Kurt Sowers. It’s every Thursday night on Fox, episode 2 is tonight where the guys go on their first 1-on-1 dates of the season, along with a group date. Maybe it’s just me, and maybe I’m just used to talking to guys from the “Bachelor” franchise on this show, but when you listen to Steven & Kurt in this podcast, do they not sound way more polished and way more sincere than Bachelor people? I just came away from this interview totally impressed by both guys. Yes, it’s reality TV but it doesn’t seem like either of these guys comes across as being struck by the Hollywood bug, neither seems to have delusions of grandeur about being in Hollywood, being a TV host, becoming an influencer, etc. Really seemed like two down-to-earth guys that, while they may be the stars of a reality show, certainly don’t act like it. Very refreshing to listen to both Steven and Kurt in this interview. Really appreciate them coming on and I hope to have them back at the end of the season once this is all over with whatever women they chose – if they even did. Hope you enjoy the interview.

(SPOILERS) I begin by discussing my recent bout with COVID & talk about the gossip vs news debate I’ve been having internally. Then Kurt & Steven join me (26:24) to discuss their time on “Joe Millionaire.” How each of them got cast, what they felt about the women knowing early on, Steven dealing with the Caroline situation in the first episode, Kurt being the guy “not with money,” what to expect this season and much more.
