I’ve got a lot to talk about. We’re going to talk about what I was referring to yesterday and the article that quoted me, and I didn’t even know where the quote came from.
Well, now I do. Thanks to a lot of you who informed me, we’re going to talk a little American idol, a little nostalgia, American idol, Shannon Doherty and Jenny Garth. Give an update on their relationship, which will bring me to a point, you know, where I’m headed with this one. And we’re also going to talk about pop culture headlines, looking at some of them from yesterday.

Yesterday on the podcast, I started out by mentioning the fact that today at Tufts medical center in Boston, Massachusetts, I was told that Jen would be filming something there today. Now we know her season ended filming on Thursday in Hawaii. I actually have heard who she picked. Now, is it anything that I feel comfortable running with?
No, it’s not confirmed, but have I heard a name between Marcus and Devin? Yes, I have. There was a part of me that was like, you know what, since. It’s hard for me and basically impossible for me, unless I get something like the Nick Plain video, since it’s basically impossible for me to prove to anybody when I have a right spoiler, maybe I just throw it out there of what I’m hearing, you know, I don’t like to do that because then if it ends up being wrong, it turns into, you know, this pile on me when I’m just, you know, people can’t distinguish between me saying this is the person that wins versus, Hey, this is what I’m hearing because what I’m hearing could end up changing.
Yeah. Okay. Obviously even the other way around could end up changing like last year with Daisy, but I did hear a name between Devin and Marcus, and I heard some things that lend it a little credibility to it. Obviously, I wouldn’t be able to share those things because that’d be giving away sources, but I have heard a name.
So now my goal is to get that name confirmed. I did think about running with the name that I heard. And just saying, Hey, this is what I’m hearing, but I don’t want to go that route because it’s going to turn into a giant mess. And I like to just put it out there when I feel like I got the confirmation that I need and I don’t have the confirmation that I need so far.
But did I hear a name between Devin and Marcus? Yes, I did. So Jen is filming today at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where she used to work and. It was weird because when is it a bleed ever filmed their intro video post show. I got to imagine that’s what they’re filming at Tufts medical center. Why else would she be filming there?
So I guess we’ll know when her intro video airs. If we see her filming at Tufts, just know that that was filmed after the season ended and it kind of lends a little credibility to the fact that Jen was a late. Late signing to be the bachelorette. Not that we didn’t know that already. Clearly they wanted Daisy for a while.
They wanted Maria, according to Maria, it was hers and she was the bachelorette until she wasn’t. Those are her direct words that she said, and it just wasn’t, she wasn’t excited about it when she was going through fittings, she couldn’t get there mentally. She knew a lot of people were going to be, you know, All eyes on her and she just wasn’t there mentally ready for it.
She knew that Jen wanted it. And so she bequeathed the bachelorette gig to Jen, I guess. I mean, that’s what she said. So. It makes sense on why maybe they couldn’t put a whole video package together for Jen before the season started, which they have done for every other lead. She is filming today.
Hopefully I’ll have some more information for you tomorrow of, you know, kind of what they’re filming, but I would believe she’s just going to be going there and we’re going to see her at her old job and just part of an intro package of, you know, what she does. The other thing I brought up yesterday was this article in on bossmirror.
com, which again, I don’t really know what boss mirror is. I don’t think anybody does, but they were ran an article yesterday and it was on my Facebook page. And the headline of the article says, reality, Steve says that Joan, the golden mature at is going to pick Kelsey Anderson’s dad. I’m like, what? I never said that.
And a lot of you emailed me yesterday. Cause I brought, I threw it out to you guys. Like, do you guys ever remember me saying this? Cause I certainly don’t. And you guys brought it to my attention that it was the other day when I was reading that emailer from back in April, they had emailed me and predicted.
That Joan was going to end up being the bachelorette and she was going to pick Kelsey’s dad. And remember I read that email. So boss mirror doing the fine journalistic job that they clearly do. One didn’t even listen to the podcast or went straight to the transcript of it and didn’t bother to read what I had said before that, which was, this was an email sent to me back in April.
So that’s what it was. Thank you for all reminding me of that because I totally forgot I mean I remember reading the email now But because I’m reading that a boss man. I’m like, I never said that I did say that I would be surprised if Kelsey’s dad wasn’t a contestant on Jones season It certainly seems like he’s going to be but I didn’t remember saying.
Oh, she’s totally gonna pick him and she might what if she does You know, we never know. It was the emailer that said that. And I was just rereading an email that was sent to me back in April. And the reason I read that email was because. This person sent that to me three weeks before Joan was ever announced as the golden bachelorette.
So, and they brought up a good point about the whole, I kind of understand why they went with Joan because Leslie story isn’t much of a story anymore. Her story was she’s the heartbroken final two woman. She thought she was going to get picked. He dumps her 24 hours after their overnight date. Everyone feels sorry for her.
Well, now that Gary and Teresa broke up, where is to where is Leslie story? Nobody feels sorry for her anymore. They almost feel like she lucked out by not getting picked by Gary. So kind of makes sense. And I don’t know if that’s the reason, obviously they would never admit to that, but I’ve got no problem.
I mean, Leslie could have been the bachelor golden bachelorette. So, and they went with Joan and I’m fine with Joan as the golden bachelorette in terms of spoilers for that season. Who knows? You know, this is another thing where I’m just going to sit back and whatever I get, I get, it’s not a, it’s not a show where I’m following anything on social media, whatever comes to me, I’ll relay, but it’s not a show that I’m hell bent on getting spoilers for.
And last year, I knew nothing about Gary season until the final three. And I had found out about the three hometown dates. And then I found out that he eliminated faith on the Hometown date, rose ceremony, and that Teresa and Leslie were your final two. And then it took me about a month and a half, two months to find out who we picked between Teresa and Leslie.
Also yesterday talking about the Instagram of the men of this season, it looks like they’re all private still. And the only reason I can see Thomas as Zano’s Sam McKinney’s and. The other person I said, Oh Jeremy Simons is because they accepted me as a follower. Or after I requested them, they accepted me as a friend, which technically they’re not supposed to do because I know filming is over, but I don’t know exactly.
We know last year they did something that they’d never done before, which is usually one season is done filming. That’s when they say, okay, all the contestants, they sent out a mass email and tell all the contestants you can now go public on Instagram. Last year they said you can’t do it until. People.
com or whenever it is publicly announced that you were a contestant on this show. So filming ended Thursday. It is now Tuesday. As far as I know, none of these guys are public. So it looks like we’re going to have to wait yet again until they are officially announced by one of the entertainment sites, but that should be coming up in the next couple of weeks, knowing we are six weeks away from the premiere.
So my guess is maybe in the next two weeks, maybe a month out, they’ll do it. It varies every season. It’s usually, it’s usually two to three weeks before the season starts, but they could change it up. But yeah, looks like these guys are not going to be able to go public until the entertainment sites say, here are the men for Jen season, even though you already know all of them and all of their Instagram pages, you’re welcome.
