There’s really no nice way whatsoever to put this, but Brian and Rachel’s divorce is getting uglier. Brian had a filing on Tuesday, July 2nd. So back three days ago you know, Rachel had come out in a filing saying that he, she doesn’t think Brian needs. 16, 000 a month and she was willing to basically give him 10, 000 a month.
She was saying that his requests were not supported by competent evidence and Far exceed the actual marital lifestyle and his need well he came back and Said that Rachel earns a very substantial income during their four year marriage and cited his proposed financial needs as 16, 000 275 a month. He claims that his monthly income is 1, 300 and then some after paying his expenses and there’s nothing left.
He claims after they moved to LA in 2021, his net income was almost nothing. Rachel was aware of that, which is why she agreed to pay most of our living expenses until I could regularly contribute. He made several claims in the filing about the nature of their relationship, including that she never showed any interest in his business.
And that her jet setting career often took her away from our marital residence while I stayed home. He claims that Rachel wanted him, quote, out of the way, and, quote, not involved in Hollywood, and would go as far as to, quote, disinvite him to parties or events, and then go with her industry friends instead.
He also says, he alleges that he discovered in 2019, well, he said, He discovered that Rachel had been disingenuous while they were living in Dallas after the show aired, which led him to, quote, consider not following through with our marriage, end quote. In 2020, when she took the job with Extra TV, she gave me an ultimatum.
I either move to California with her or else the marriage is over. He said he filed for divorce because, quote, he no longer trusted Rachel and had endured years of her verbal manipulation. The reality is that I was the one stuck at home and stuck at work with a wife who never wanted to be around me during our marriage.
Ay yi yi. I mean this is, this is rough. Because, kind of what we talked about before, Rachel and Brian were the most non social media couple that the Bachelor franchise has ever had. They never posted and they never really talked about it. And then one time when Rachel talked about it on social media in, in a podcast interview, or maybe she did it on her higher learning podcast.
She just said, look, I don’t owe anybody anything. We’re glad that we met on TV. We know we have fans out there that are enjoying it, but we don’t owe them anything. I like to keep our relationship off social media. Which they have every right to do. But now since these filings are coming out, we’re hearing more and more about this marriage.
It basically seems like these two were never even close. And the reason, the real reason why they weren’t posting on social media is because they weren’t any sort of happy couple whatsoever. What Rachel has said about Brian, what Brian is now saying about Rachel, I mean, this is, this is ugly, but. I mean, are there any divorces that aren’t ugly to a certain extent?
We get that. I would think with most divorces, especially divorces that are from. Many celebrities or celebrities in general, it’s just, it’s almost impossible because you have to make a case as to why I deserve this or why she deserves that. And you have to make a case and your case is going to be essentially putting down the other person in the relationship for something that they didn’t do.
I mean, these are very harsh accusations against Rachel. Rachel had some harsh accusations against Brian. We don’t know what’s true. Maybe the truth lies somewhere in the middle for Brian to say that basically my wife didn’t want me around, didn’t invite me to parties. We rarely saw each other. She says she claimed that their, their marriage was nowhere near as glamorous as Brian portrays it to be, and that they rarely saw each other even live together during their brief marriage.
It’s like. It looks like that’s the one thing they agree on is that they were really never that close and didn’t see each other a lot during their marriage. Hence the reason they probably didn’t post much on social media. They weren’t around each other. Either way. I have not taking sides on this. I don’t know who’s right.
I don’t know who’s wrong. Ultimately, this will get resolved. Rachel has already gone on other podcasts and talked about the fact that she’s. In a new dating space in her head, because Brian and her and Brian have been separated for a while now. And she’s interested in dating and she’s interested in dating someone who’s already got more of a career.
She’s interested in dating people that are between 45 and 55, she says, but. That’s not set on that number. It it could change based on who she meets and who she vibes with. Again, when she talked about who she’s interested in dating, I definitely think there was a backhanded shot at Brian there saying that she’s tended to date guys who thinks who she thinks can get to the place they want to get to and need some fixing.
Whereas she probably needs to start dating guys that are already there. So I’m sure that was a shot at Brian, but I’m also sure this isn’t the last we’ve heard of court filings between these two. It’s just ugly. It’s unfortunate, but it’s public news now. So we’re going to talk about it because they are a couple from bachelor nation.
And finally, I want to talk about Caitlin because. Yesterday or two days ago, she had posted on her Instagram. This is on her feed. She said, remember when I asked you guys to put it out in the universe that I’d get the thing I auditioned for. I got it. Thank you. She did not say what it was, but she did say it, what it wasn’t.
She said it wasn’t a judge or a pro on dancing with the stars because she did post with. With Sasha. That was one of the pictures that she put in her post. And so she did say, she did say that she auditioned for something. And, but she said, I’m not a host, I’m not a judge, and I’m not a pro on dancing with the stars.
So we don’t know what it is. I’m sure we’ll get an answer soon enough. Caitlin, I don’t think is going to drag this out. She probably can’t say it until I guess maybe the T’s are crossed and the eyes are dotted. I don’t necessarily know. I haven’t heard anything about what exactly it is. But there are stories out there on the internet that, Oh, she might be the new host of the golden Bachelorette.
Well, that’s not it. Golden Bachelorette started filming on June 20 or excuse me, on, on July. No, I was right. June 21st. Caitlin certainly has been in Nashville and other cities other than Nashville. Post June 21st. And when you’re the host of the Golden Bachelorette, which is filming in LA, you would have to be there.
It’s been filming today. It’s been two weeks since the show’s been filming. Caitlin has been in at least two to three different cities since the show started filming on June 21st. She’s not the host of the Golden Bachelorette. Jesse is. Jesse posted from the mansion on the first night or the day after the first night.
So yeah, we can get that out of people’s heads. That Caitlin might be the host of the Golden Bachelorette. She’s not, I don’t know what it is, but I know it’s not that anyway.
