We’re going to head into the weekend, unfortunately with a bad report coming out of the dance with the stars world. We’re going to talk about big brother last night, everything that Tommy and I talked about in yesterday’s podcast number four Oh six.
Ended up coming true. We’re going to also talk about the challenge. Finally got around to watching that yesterday and an update on the live stream for my YouTube channel. And we will get to all that momentarily. I want to start out with this. I’m not going to do a live stream tonight, and I’m not going to do a live stream next week.
When I come back after my trip next week. I’m going to reevaluate exactly how many times a week or how many times a month I’m going to do a live stream and what day it’s going to be on because of the new schedule and things going on and football season starting. I don’t know. I don’t know when I’m going to do it.
I got to figure out. I don’t think Friday is a great night to do it now that I think about it. That’s why I’m canceling tonight and I’m not going to be in town next weekend. So give me a couple of weeks and I’ll let you know exactly when I’m going to do it. More than I think about it. Yeah, I don’t know because there’s something on almost every day of the week.
Not, not just football. I’m just talking about, you know, Tuesdays, but that’ll be during dancing with the stars Mondays will be during Monday night football. That ain’t happening. Wednesdays will be big brother Thursdays live big brother eviction. I’m not going to do it during that. And then Friday, once again, it’s just, do I want to do it Friday night?
I got to figure it out anyway. I just wanted to get that out there cause I don’t know when I’m going to do it. And it’s definitely not going to be tonight and not next week. And then after, and give me a couple of weeks and I’ll figure out exactly when I want to do it and if it’s going to be a weekly thing.
So let’s talk about the main story that happened yesterday and something that I definitely want to get out there because the story surrounding Artem, how do you pronounce his last name? I’m sure I’m butchering it, but the story surrounding him he was arrested on domestic violence charges and just the story itself and tweeting two sentences that I did, I tweeted out a link to the story and I said, this is very unfortunate, safe to say his dance with the stars career is over after this.
I, I mean, Shocked that some of the people saying, I can’t believe you’re jumping to conclusions on this innocent until proven guilty. Look, there is no police report. We have no details. We don’t even know who was, who it was. The domestic violence was against, obviously there’s a probably 98 percent chance it is his wife.
We don’t know. And the victim has asked for confidentiality, but because this story is so big. There’s no way one of the entertainment outlets doesn’t get the details on this at some point. I’m sure in the days In the next few days We are going to be finding out more and more details about what happened and who it happened to now I tweeted that out not to say oh my god, everyone just destroy Artem But what I’m saying is bachelor data put it out there and it was in the story for us weekly It said what the charges were 273.
5 of the California Penal Code. Well, if you look that up, that is a violation which deals with domestic violence, specifically this particular section. 273. 5 Is the act of inflicting corporal injury resulting in traumatic condition upon a spouse, cohabitant, fiance, or parent of the offender’s child. So, I said that saying, look, he didn’t get arrested because him and somebody got in a verbal argument.
And he didn’t get arrested because, I mean, they basically arrested him because they had something under corporal injury. I don’t know if any of you Googled what corporal injury and the legal term for corporal injury, what it means. This can include minor or serious injuries, such as bruising, broken bones, black eyes, internal bleeding, concussions, lacerations, strained ligaments, bullet wounds, head trauma, and broken nose.
You take the lightest force of those 10 that I just gave you. And that’s not good news for him. The reason why I said you can say is dancing with the stars career is over because I don’t think this is nothing. I don’t think this is going to end up being, Oh, charges dropped. They just had a verbal spat. I don’t see that.
Plus, this is a Disney show. They’re going to want to separate themselves so far from this. Let’s let it play out in the courts. But what I’m saying is he was arrested. It wasn’t, there’s rumors. There was domestic violence. There’s people posting online under anonymous names that domestic violence happened and he was involved.
That’s different. There’s a major difference between rumors online from people who post anonymously and police showing up at a house and arresting someone for domestic violence. So he was arrested and domestic violence is attached to his name, dancing with the stars family. And the Disney family is not going to want to be any part of this.
He’s done. He’s never going to be on that show again, regardless of if the charges end up getting dropped. I just don’t see it happening. I think they’re just going to separate it because now he’s going to be associated with this. And they’re just not going to want any part of it. I wasn’t jumping down the guy’s throat.
I certainly, shit, I don’t want it to be true, but facts are the facts. This is what he was arrested for. And the charges are under 273. 5 of the California Penal Code. And if you look that up, it was what I just read to you. That’s not good. That’s not positive. I don’t think, and you can sit here, I understand probably the people that are saying, don’t rush to judgment.
We don’t know yet are the people who just don’t want it to be true, but you gotta kind of live in reality sometimes. And the reality is something bad happened for the police to arrest him under a domestic violence charge. So let’s just go from there and we’ll see everything play out. When I was talking about dancing with the stars and his career being over, that also wasn’t to dismiss the victim.
We don’t even know who the victim is. We have an idea. Probably. It’s not farfetched to think who it is, but that’s not to dismiss them. Me saying his dance with the stars career is over. I got some responses who cares about his career? What about the victim? I’m very well aware of that. There’s no doubt about that.
But since the victim hasn’t been named, I wasn’t going to talk about the victim. I don’t know who it is. So to me, look, yes, we probably know who it is. That wasn’t good enough for me to just all of a sudden start saying, I hope Nikki is okay, which I do. But I just don’t want to throw the name. I didn’t want to throw the name out there when we didn’t know.
And the victim has requested confidentiality. So there’s no reason to sit here and start talking about the victim. Of course, anybody that is a victim of domestic violence, we feel sorry for, but the headline was about Artem. So I was talking about how this is going to affect his career. And I think he’s done.
And it’s just, the timing isn’t great. Now we did find out. That he was not set to be on season 33. The pros were all in LA yesterday doing their photo shoots for the next season of dancing with the stars. Artem wasn’t there. He was in Napa. So where he lives with his wife. So he was not set to be on season 33.
We know no details, no details have been released, but because this is a big story, there’s no way we’re not going to find out details in the coming days and weeks ahead. It’s just, I understand confidentiality has been requested, but there’s going to be a new site that gets a hold of information and they’re going to put it out there.
But let’s run with facts. And the fact is he was arrested. This wasn’t a, Oh, I heard this happened. Oh, somebody posted online that Artem hit somebody. No, no, no, no, no. Doesn’t work that way. There’s a reason I haven’t brought that up this season. Cause I’ve yet to see one physical proof of anything and no arrests have ever been made.
Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I’m just saying, I’m not going to talk about something that I know nothing about other than anonymous people posting online. I hope you understand that. I’ve stayed away from it for three months. I’ve tried to get ahold of the people who were involved. They don’t want to have any part of it.
So I’m not going to talk about it. Sorry. But this particular situation. Arrest was made, domestic violence, section 273. 5 out of the California Penal Code. We have stuff to dissect in that. It’s not speculation. So in the coming days, I’m sure more is going to get out and we’ll discuss it more as more comes out.
It’s unfortunate all around. It’s awful. We can just hope that. I mean, you could say we hope for the best on this, but what is the best in this situation? That he caused minimal damage. The fact that he caused any damage or any inflicted any injury is not good. So let’s just let it play out and let’s start hearing some facts before anything.
But the comment about him losing his job, that’s all I was making. He’s never going to work on this show again. There’s, there’s no way that you want to attach him to this and it, you know, just have to go with that.
