Kind of a little different weekly podcast this week as I’m replaying yesterday’s livestream that happened on Dave Neal’s YouTube channel yesterday. We discuss the Devin video without showing any of Jenn’s texts because we felt they were way too invasive and clearly weren’t consented to by Jenn. So we dove into that and just focused on the things that Devin was saying on his IG video. His IG video that has now been deleted twice by him and no longer up, which I’m hearing, came from production who told him to take it down. I have no idea what Devin’s next step is from here. He’s got too much of an ego for 2 deleted posts to be his only time to tell his side, but time will tell. Jenn is on Nick’s podcast today talking about the Devin situation, her first interview since Devin released the video which I will cover in tomorrow’s Daily Roundup. Enjoy…

DAILY ROUNDUP 9/12 TRANSCRIPT
You are listening to the daily roundup here as part of the reality. Steve podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Thursday. Got a lot to go over what’s coming up in a couple hours. The real crappy day I had yesterday and it all came down. Within about a span of 30 minutes.
If you were watching Dave Neal’s live stream yesterday, you know what I’m talking about. But for those that don’t, I will fill you in. We’re going to talk more about the Jen and Devin stuff. What’s coming today. What happened yesterday? More stuff to cover there. I do want to talk about charity and pausing her wedding planning with Dotton.
I do want to talk about big brother last night and starting next Wednesday night, this is going to get ridiculous in terms of my TV schedule. We’ll get to all that momentarily. Okay. Coming up in a couple hours. To be exact 9 15 a. m. Eastern Standard Time podcast. Number 408 will be up on my YouTube channel and in your podcast feed.
But as I told you yesterday, it is just going to be my appearance on Dave Neal’s live stream yesterday, where we talked about the Jen and Devin stuff. For those that don’t know, we did not show any of the texts. I actually woke up yesterday morning and was thinking about it. And I sent a voice memo to Dave.
I’m like, man, there’s something that feels off about us doing this live stream and just going through all the text messages that Jen sent. Devin, it feels impersonal, not impersonal. It feels she didn’t consent to this. So I think us covering it is a bit much. What do you think we should do? But how do we cover it?
If, if we’re going to play his video and it’s running there in the background. And he’s like, He’s like, I totally hear you. I thought the same thing. Don’t want to do it, but I have a program that can blur out all the text messages. So that’s what we did. We covered, we started playing his video and we talked about the things.
We stopped it when we wanted to make comments about things that Devin was saying. However, you heard me in the open say about my crappy day. So as we’re recording, I want to say about 30 minutes in, my phone is to the side of me and I look over and it’s my bank calling. I’m just like, whatever. It was on vibrate, so I just stopped it.
They called right back, stopped it again. Then they called a third time and I’m like, something’s up. So I told Dave I was like Dave I got to take this call take me off the screen I’ll be back on as soon as I can and unfortunately another fraud alert. I don’t know where it happened I can’t even remember the last time I used that debit card But apparently I did you could say oh, it’s probably happened in Vegas.
There’s a lot of scams going on in Vegas I don’t think I used it in Vegas I mean my stuff was billed to that card But I never had to take out that card and show it because it was already on file there And I just bill everything to my room. So I’m not really sure what happened, but bank called me and said, there was a fraud alert on your phone.
A 499 payment towards Best Buy was tried on your card in somewhere in Georgia. They said, are you in Georgia right now? I said, no. They said, what about a 1, 500 charge for something also in Georgia? No. Do you know this person who has added themselves to your Zelle account? And I’m like, no. And they said, okay, well, they tried to send 2, 500 to themselves.
I’m like, Jesus again. So, I mean, nothing ever got, you know, in the past stuff has been taken out and it’s just been put right back in. Been redeposited by the bank. This was never even taken out of my account because the bank noticed the suspicious activity happening all at one time, but, so I was off Dave’s, I was off Dave’s live stream for probably 10 minutes.
And then I come back on and within five minutes of coming back on my camera goes out. So when you watch today’s YouTube channel on reality, Steve, and you watch episode number 408, I’d say for the last 15 or 20 minutes, You can only hear me. You can’t see me. And I tried to fix it. I clicked out, clicked back in.
I unplugged my camera, plugged it back in nothing. So yeah, that was no fun, but you will get that YouTube video up at 9 15 AM Eastern time. It’ll be in your podcast feed right around the same time. So just keep that in mind. A good discussion with Dave. And while I was gone, Courtney Robertson came on in.
And then when I came in, the three of us spoke. Before Courtney stepped out. So that’s what we did yesterday. Everything’s handled with the bank thing. But once again, remember, I just got a new debit card a month ago, and then I had to go into everything that I have automatically taken out of that card and I had to change it and now I’m going to have to do it again.
Hey, so just so annoying. So we did talk about the Devin and Jen stuff from the Devin angle and Like I said, we did not go over any of the text messages outside of the only one we talked about was the one where Jen Texted him about you’re not sleeping. You’re reading reality, Steve. And obviously that’s all we really saw in that text and just made a joke about it.
But we obviously did not go over any of the personal texts, what Jen said. And, you know, I just, you know, where I stand on this, I think Devin was totally in the wrong. I have, I have no problem with Devin coming to his own defense because yeah, he’s been taking it from a lot of people. Obviously you want to say something, anybody who’s attacked as much as he is, wants to say something.
I mean, Sam did it earlier this year. Again, but both of them kind of went about it the wrong way. Sam got his family involved and he wasn’t telling the full story. And then Devin didn’t get his family involved, but took to Instagram to post a 13 minute video that didn’t really accomplish much. And it made people kind of dislike him even more because you can say that Jen seemed insecure in her texts to him, but.
Only one of the two parties posted the other person’s private text conversations, and that was Devin. And that was a dick thing to do to me, period, end of story, dick thing to do by Devin. However, literally during the live stream, Devin deleted the Instagram post for a second time. So now it’s gone.
I’m hearing rumblings that this was from higher ups. They told him, take it down. That’s what I’m hearing. Not surprising, but what I want to say is this. I’m curious about his next move. Devin has too much of an ego to let two failed Instagram posts. Most of which 80%, 90 percent of the audience criticized him for be his last stand on, this is what happened between me and Jen during our relationship.
I have a feeling that I don’t know what it’s going to be, but I can’t imagine Devin is now just going to tuck his head between his legs and we never hear from him again. Considering what I’m hearing was that production did not let him and they were the ones that told him, take that video down now, I’m just curious what he can even do if he wants to do something, it seems like they’re just going to shoot it down unless he does go on a bachelor approved podcast.
Maybe he will, but they clearly didn’t like what he said and what he showed. So it’s almost like he’s in timeout and. Are they even going to let him do anything? Or is this guy going to have to go rogue? But then if he goes rogue, he takes the chance of the show coming after him. So I’m not really sure what his next move is.
We do know what Jen’s next move is. Is she recorded yesterday with Nick Viall? It’s airing today. So I’ll be covering that in tomorrow’s podcast. And by her recording yesterday with Nick, it’s all going to be addressed in the video and in that podcast about Devin’s video. So very timely and very curious to see what Jen has to say in regards to Devin’s video, because we haven’t heard her speak about it.
She has made some jokes on Instagram, but nothing in regards to anything specific that Devin brought up, even though he spoke in generalities, Jen is going to be generalities. It’s a good one, Steve. I didn’t even realize I made a pun there. Anyway, Jen is going to speak on Devin’s video for the first time, even though the video is now gone, but she, it, it, it, it did its damage.
It did what, you know, that’s the thing that Devin is really between a rock and a hard place now, because twice he posted the video the first time he took it down because he had to change and X out one of the tweets, the text message conversation in there because it had the sexual reference and the sexting between them, but then when he put it back up, it still had the other one in there.
So then now it’s down again and. It’s almost like at this point you had your chance. Like when you have an apology that big, you got one chance to do it. And he basically dropped the ball. So anything he releases after this, it’s like, if it covers something else, it’s going to be like, well, why didn’t you cover this the first time around now?
You’re just not being sincere because this isn’t how you really feel, or else you would have released that in 13 minutes that you had to put something together that was obviously produced because there was video of him. There was screenshots of text messages going on in the background. Then there was just voiceover work of him.
I mean, the whole thing production wise could have been better. And now we’re sitting here going, okay, I don’t know what this guy’s next move is. But he has too much of an ego based on what everything that I saw. And I think what a lot of people saw, this guy’s got too much of an ego to keep his mouth shut.
So I don’t think that, especially with Jen going on Nick’s podcast today, I certainly don’t think that she’s going to be complimentary of him. And I’m sure she’s probably going to spill more tea that maybe she never got around to on after the final rose. So that’s going to make Devin probably even more upset and want to be like, Oh, she’s going to say this.
Well, I want to say this because that’s how petty he was. The guy stooped as low as to posting sext conversations between the two of them. And you could say, well, if you want to believe his apology, he totally didn’t do that on purpose. Well, considering he went through all the texts and was able to black out stuff that he claims was.
Basically contract stuff, stuff that would have gotten in trouble contract wise. So that means he was going through them. I just think he got caught and he didn’t realize that people were going to see it. Or like I said, he knew people were going to see it. And then after the fact, he’s like, Oh, I’m so sorry.
I screwed that one up. I mean, he took accountability for it, but it’s like for something like that, it’s already out there. So again, it’s very hard to believe him in what he says. So today is going to be another interesting day because I can’t believe this story is still lasting a week after their finale.
And the best part is Jen’s living her best life. Now you see her videos on Instagram stories. She’s having a ball with Sasha and going through rehearsals and getting ready for the dance with the stars premiere a week from yesterday. It’s like. She’s doing great. And Devin is just literally sinking in quicksand as we speak.
And Jen is like, Hey, you know, yeah, she did the interview with Nick, but we’ll see what she says. I think there’ll be a part of her that I’ll have not, not remorse for him. She’s certainly not happy with him. You can’t imagine. Why would anybody happy with him sharing their private text conversations? I’m sure she’s going to rail on him for that, but I’m sure that Nick is also gonna ask her Well, what about the text that he did release where it seemed like you guys were cool hours before you took the stage?
