We’re joined today by Chad & Lizzy from the “Game of Roses” podcast, and for the first time since I’ve been having them on my podcast, we don’t talk at all about the “Bachelor/ette.” It’s 90 minutes of “Love is Blind” talk as episodes #10 & 11 drop yesterday on Netflix and they are filled with all sorts of goodies. So much happening on this show as we break down all 6 couples that got honeymoons, and include Leo & Brittany as well. If you haven’t watched yesterday’s episode, I suggest waiting til tomorrow before consuming this award winning podcast. Ok, maybe it won’t win any awards, but hey, it’s full of spoilers on what went down yesterday. We are a week away from the finale and two weeks away from the reunion and this is going to get spicy. We give our predictions for next week and who we think might still be married or not. Another great visit by these two that I know you’ll enjoy. Thanks again to Chad & Lizzy for coming on the podcast.

DAILY ROUNDUP 10/17 TRANSCRIPT
You are listening to the daily roundup here as part of the reality, Steve podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve. Thank you all for tuning in a good Thursday show for you. We’ve got a lot to go over. I’m going to talk about podcast number four 13 coming up in a couple hours, which is going to consist of 90 minutes of love is blind talk.
If you have not watched it yet. Yesterday’s episodes 10 and 11 that were released on Netflix. Well, you might want to have to skip that one or wait and listen to that podcast until after you’ve watched episodes 10 and 11, I am going to briefly, and I mean briefly address the Josh cider situation, golden bachelorette last night, survivor last night.
A little more Saturday night live talk, because there is a new video that is absolutely infiltrating my for you page on Tik TOK and a horrible story out of Buenos Aires, and that is the death of Liam Payne from one direction. And we will get to all that momentarily. All right. Podcast number 413 comes up in a couple hours.
It is with Chad and Lizzie from Game of Roses. And we spent 90 minutes talking about Love is Blind. Episodes 10 and 11 posted yesterday. If you’ve watched them, it’s a very thorough breakdown. We go through, we go through every couple and give our thoughts. We give our predictions of the three remaining couples.
Spoiler alert, three, two, one. There are only three remaining couples after episode 11. And next week is weddings. Do I think all three are going through with a wedding? No, I gave my prediction. Lizzie agreed with me and Chad is basically no on all three, but I, I absolutely think there is one couple that will make it through.
Not only get married, but they are probably still married today, just because we’ve seen the least amount of contention between them on these first 11 episodes. So it seems like that’s going to be their couple that they’re going to hitch their wagon to this show. The other two, I think one does get married next week, but they are no longer together if I had to guess, and that I don’t think one of them does end up getting married.
Probably not too hard to figure out which ones, but we go over all of that. And I’m going to give you my thoughts on a few things a little bit later on in this podcast, as I break down episodes 10 and 11, I mentioned at the beginning, I was going to briefly discuss the Josh Cider situation. He was a man who faked his own death.
And over the last three or four months, he has been a trans woman. He has said he’s transitioning to being a woman. And he’s gotten a lot of news coverage for it. I brought this up, I don’t know, three or four weeks ago because he was in the news for something. It wasn’t the him transitioning because that is, that started like three or four months ago, but he was in the news for something.
I think he criticized the bachelor franchise, whatever the case may be. Here’s my thoughts on Josh Cider. I’ve heard it for four months that this guy was pulling a prank on everybody. It was only being done as a social experiment. So he could call out the woke left. This guy’s a piece of shit. I’m not giving him any more playtime on this podcast or anywhere else.
This guy’s a horrible human being for what he did. And I’m not giving him the time of day because all he wants is attention. So moving on from Josh cider. Put it this way. Nothing he said yesterday surprised me because I have heard from people in his own inner circle for the last four months. This is all a ruse.
He’s doing this as a joke. He’s not transitioning. He’s not trying to be a woman. He’s doing it to try and quote unquote prove a point. He proved nothing other than he’s a jackass. Golden Bachelorette last night. I’m sure a lot of people were sad that Mark went home. And when you watch the episode, you can kind of see why he did.
It just wasn’t there with him and Joan. I’m sure it’ll be there with somebody in the future. And I do believe Mark when he says, I’ve been closed off since my wife died. I haven’t really put myself out there and this experience, I think helped him. I don’t see how it didn’t not to mention. I mean, he was very honest with her.
I don’t think he put up much of a fight when she said that. I think he saw it, that. While they did have a connection, it wasn’t as strong as some of her connections with the other men. And I do believe Mark, when he said he’s now a better person because of what he went through. And I, I do think that this was a situation where I don’t want to say he was pressured to do, to do this, but there were so many people clamoring him for him to find his, to find someone after watching him on Joey season.
Where we saw the hometown date, everybody from that moment on just fell in love with Mark. So naturally when the golden bachelorette pops up, it’s like, Oh, let’s get him on the show. And again, it’s his own choice. He could have chosen not to do it. I do think that there was pressure on him. And I do think people thought like it was just going to be automatic or he’s only doing this because they want him to be the next golden bachelor.
Maybe he will, but we’re nine, 10 months away from the next golden bachelor filming. So it’s not even on anybody’s mind right now. In terms of who’s going to be the next golden bachelor, they still have to name a next bachelorette. They still have to film a whole season of paradise. So let’s stop with the marks going to be the next golden bachelor.
I just, he might be, but it’s not even close to being named. So there’s no reason to even talk about it right now. Once again, my opinion is I don’t think he’s going to be the next golden bachelor. I don’t know if they’re going to go outside the franchise. I don’t know if they’re going to choose one of her top four.
I don’t know. It doesn’t mean they have to choose one of the top four because they’ve only had one season to do that. And they chose from outside the top four when they chose Joan. Over any of Gary’s top four. So it’s not, it wouldn’t be unprecedented if Mark who finished what seventh, if he got the bachelor golden bachelor gig, I know a lot of people would like to see him in that role. It’s not like I would be like, Oh, what a horrible choice. No, not at all. He’d be fine as the Golden Bachelor. I just think there’s other choices and I think that other choices might get it over him. That’s all. But I really did like seeing what he said at the end. He didn’t leave bitter. He didn’t leave thinking that the love of his life got away.
I think he saw it. That’s the impression I got from him on his exit. I think he knew the growth that he had during the season and this was probably One of the first women he had any sort of connection with since his wife died. So good for him. And it was a very, very well done exit. And, you know, looking forward to seeing him on the men tell all, I’m assuming there’s going to be a men tell all for Joan, right?
Why wouldn’t there be as for the final four, Jordan, Pascal. Guy, Chalk, that’s your final four in that order. And, you know, we know who Joan chooses at the end here. Survivor last night was another good episode. Another blindside, a blindside on Annika that made her cry. She was really bothered by the fact that Andy And man, I’m forgetting their names already.
Why do I suck at names? The two that everyone thinks is running that tribe. The one that Sue said, Oh, I thought you guys were in control. The one that. Other people thought that they were dating, and both of them have significant others back home. I’m forgetting their names. I could obviously picture their faces, and I’m just completely forgetting their names.
I remember Andy, and Annika, and Annika’s the one that got eliminated. But, another solid episode of Survivor. Anytime you can pull off a blindside, it’s always a good thing. And boy, she was really taken aback. I, she had no idea. And I, and I really did think this was another one where this was going to come down between Andy and Anika and just the way they edited it.
I think you could really see that it was leaning towards Anika because she was the one that was so convinced and Andy seemed like such the easy out and it was like, why aren’t we getting this guy out? Andy talked about how I’ve been here 10 days and it’s clear. I’m not good at challenges. I’m the one at the bottom.
And it was just like, okay. This is what we’re talking about here. And Andy seems to just, the fact that he continues to get by kind of shows that there’s, there’s more going on here than, than probably what is being shown, but a really, really good episode of survivor. I enjoyed it. I did not watch the challenge yet.
I will get to that probably today and talk about that tomorrow. But after we talk about mid mobile, I’m going to get into my thoughts on love is blind episodes, 10 and 11.
