Alright, let’s talk a little Special Forces. It aired Wednesday night and we’re down to eight people. No wonder this show only has five episodes this season.
They’re ripping through the cast because everybody’s falling like flies. A lot of medical evacuations, a few quit. Trista Sutter quit within the first literally five minutes of Wednesday’s episode. She just seemingly, I don’t know, couldn’t handle it. Which, you know, look, I respect anybody who goes on that show.
And anybody who quits, I don’t have anything against them. The medically evacuated people, I Landon Donovan, Marion Jones Nathan Adrian, the swimmer, all medically evacuated Jordan Weber the gymnast. She VW’d. She just got a little freaked out by the whole water challenge going under the water in the car.
I don’t fault any of these people, but I can’t believe two episodes in. We’re already down. We over half the cast is gone. And the streak of two seasons in a row where somebody from bachelor nation gets to the end is over because we know Allie was medically withdrawn from the show in episode one, Trista left on her own first five minutes of Wednesday’s episode.
So nobody from bachelor nation is winning this season. So who’s still left Cam Newton, Brody Jenner, golden Tate, Carrie Hart. And then I believe four women are, are still left as well. So. I have no idea who’s going to win this thing, but when I saw at the beginning of the season was only five episodes.
I’m like, that seems shorter than the past ones. I don’t know. Maybe the other ones were only six. I thought they were eight, but maybe they were only six, but I, I kind of have an idea now why we only have five episodes because over half the cast was gone within the first two. All right. About the traders last night.
I am going to talk about eliminations and whatnot. So just so you know, if you haven’t watched last night’s episode, they drop every Thursday at 9 PM Eastern time on Peacock. So I am going to talk about the eliminations and the banishment, the murders and the banishments last night. So when we last left us at the end of episode three, we knew that the traders had to put three people in a casket.
And then decide to murder one of them, but they had to congregate and figure out who they were going to murder. Not by their normal nightly meetups in the bell tower. They had to do it in plain sight of everybody else, but they found a secret room in the bar area. You know, they did that, they met and they ended up putting Jeremy, Ciara, and Nikki in the caskets.
And they ended up murdering Jeremy. So. Carolyn didn’t want to do it because Carolyn is from survivor. Jeremy is from survivor. I didn’t want to do it. So people started getting suspicious. There were the whole thing with Gabby. She did say she heard Danielle’s voice in the secret room, but what ended up happening was really interesting, but also.
I’m questioning the strategy and that is because I forgot you could do this. I knew obviously the traders couldn’t murder one of their own, but they could certainly go after them during the banishment ceremony. And basically that’s what happened. Rob Boston, Rob realized that Bob, the drag queen was not good for his game.
So he was going to target him and he did at the round table. And because Boston Rob is an excellent game player, he turned a lot of people’s minds, and changed a lot of people’s minds, and Bob the Drag Queen ended up going home. One of the traitors, because one of the other traitors started a crusade against him, Boston Rob.
Now, while it did work, and everybody cheered that they finally got a traitor out, And this is also pretty early to get a traitor out, at least comparing it to the first two seasons. I don’t think a traitor was gone in the first six eliminations in any of the last two seasons. But what’s interesting is, obviously Carolyn and Danielle, the other two traitors, had to go along with it.
And they had to act like they were happy. But in the previews for next week, we see them talking like, Well, if he could go after Bob, isn’t he just gonna pick us off at some point? Now they have to go after Rob. And it’s like, yeah, it’s like, I understand that Rob did what is best for his game and he felt that Bob wasn’t good for his game, but in the process, doesn’t he make himself a target to the other two traders to Carolyn and Danielle?
Because. If he does that to one of the other traders, why wouldn’t he do it to them? At least even if he tells them, look, I just wanted Bob out. I didn’t get a good vibe with him. I get a good vibe with you two women, but how are they supposed to believe him? He just targeted one of their own. He gave the faithfuls.
A reason to go after Bob, the drag queen. When the only person that was really interested in going after him was Dylan Efron and Dylan wanted to vote for him, but he felt he didn’t have the votes until Rob came to him pre banishment and said, got to go after Bob, the drag queen. So. Look, I said it last week.
I don’t care if you think Boston Rob is a faithful at this point in the game, when there’s what 15, 16 people still left in the game, you go after Boston Rob. There’s no point to keep him around in a game like this that’s involving mystery, manipulation, strategy. Get him out of there. But what do I know? I don’t know if they’re going to do it or not.
And the final thing that I want to discuss is yesterday Justin Baldoni came out with a 400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. We had been told this was coming by Justin’s lawyer, Brian Friedman, and I will say this, I read the first 60 pages, it’s a 179 page complaint. I read the first 60 pages, and the problem that I’m running into is this, Blake’s team responded late last night to what Justin wrote, or his legal team wrote, in their 400 million dollar complaint.
Suing her for 400 million in a 179 page complaint. And they responded. The problem is, both sides are saying the same thing, basically. So I understand what Justin is saying in his complaint. But Blake is basically saying the same thing. Blake is saying, look, this is classic abuser behavior. Turn the tables on me, the victim.
That’s exactly what he’s doing. They said this is an, this is exactly what they wrote in their statement in response to his lawsuit. This is an age old story. A woman speaks up with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation, and the abuser attempts to turn the tables on the victim. This is what experts call DARVO.
Deny, Attacked, Reverse Victim Offender. Okay, totally get it. The problem is, Justin’s saying the same thing. He’s saying, No, no, no, no. She’s not the victim I am. So this is basically just going to come down to who can prove the most evidence. What’s really bothering me now though, is everybody out there.
Again, this goes back to the Rachel and Matt breakup. Everybody has to have a black and white opinion right now. And the bottom line is you don’t have enough info. None of us do, because while Justin says in his lawsuit yesterday, She and Ryan and Taylor Swift writing redrafts and trying to take over the script, and this is what they did.
They, I’m the director. My production company owns the rights to the movie. I was the director, and yet, they basically ended up bullying me and taking over the film. Well Blake Lively’s lawyers came back and said they’re trying to shift the narrative by falsely claiming she sieved, created control, and alienated the cast from Mr.
Baldoni. The evidence will show that the cast and others had their own negative experiences with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer, and the evidence will also show that Sony asked Ms. Lively to oversee Sony’s cut of the film when they selected for the distribution and was a resounding success. So they’re just disputing what Justin is saying in his lawsuit, just like he disputed what Blake said in her complaint.
This is what I mean. Nobody has the answers to this. There is not a black and white answer. Yet you got people online that have already turned on Blake, and you’ve got people online that have already turned on Justin. I was definitely Team Blake when this first came out, because I hadn’t read anything from Justin.
Now we’ve gotten Justin suing the New York Times, we’ve gotten Justin suing Blake and Ryan. Now that I’ve read more, my stance is, who’s going to present the best evidence? Because it’s very easy, especially when you’re reading Justin’s lawsuit yesterday. There’s so many things that he talks about during filming, but it’s just his word.
There are some texts and emails that he presents, surely. But there’s so much that he talks about during filming. One of the things was, Blake told him he needed to get a nose job. That was literally like two sentences in his 179 page complaint, and yet it was a front page story on Us Weekly yesterday.
Blake Lively tells Justin Baldoni during filming he needs a nose job. It’s like they made it out to be a big deal. It didn’t seem like it was a big deal, in it. He just threw that in there of, Hey, this was just her exerting her power or whatever, it’s just, there’s so much more to this case and so much more evidence needs to be produced.
Just like I said that about Justin. Hey, if Blake Lively’s lawyers say evidence will show cast and others have their own negative experiences with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer. Okay. I’m waiting to see that evidence. I’m also waiting to see the evidence that Sony asked Blake Lively to oversee Sony’s cut of the film.
Which Justin says, She overtook it. She overpowered me because of who she is and who her husband is. Okay. If Blake’s side says Sony asked us to, then we need to see the evidence. But to sit here and say you already know that Blake overtook him and overpowered him because she’s Blake and Ryan and they’re a power couple in Hollywood, you don’t know.
Cause her team saying we have evidence. Sony asked us to. So that’s what I mean. I think there’s so much more that obviously needs to come and. I think I need to see more evidence before I make a determination of anything here. So just keep that in mind. And everybody who’s got, you’re obviously you’re allowed to have an opinion online, but I’m sorry, the opinions that people are having and the stuff that I’m seeing on Tik TOK and on Twitter and on threads, it’s like these people have, are so convinced one way or another.
I was like, how can you be so convinced? It seems like you’re being so convinced because you’ve already come in with a bias that you either like Blake or you like Justin. And you’re going after the other one. When, I’m sorry, there is so much out there where we’re not seeing context. The timeline is very, very weird of when things happen.
I just, I need to see more. I need to see this evidence that both sides say they have. So, anyway, that’s just my thoughts on the case. Anyway, thank you all for listening. I really appreciate it. Follow me on Apple podcasts also rate and review, but you got to hit play. It’s the only way it counts as a download sports daily.
