Daily Roundup 1/20 – When Your Grant Spoilers Are Coming To The Website, Kaitlyn & Zac Attend The Eagles Game, & The Rachael/Matt Rumors Start Heating Up

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Monday. Good show for you. I’ve got a technical thing to update you on. We are going to briefly discuss Grant’s spoilers that I gave out at the end of last week.

Caitlin and Zach attend the Philadelphia Eagles football game this weekend. The Rachel and Matt drama continues. We got some other things going on in Bachelor Nation, and we’ll get to all that momentarily. Now, you guys aren’t seeing this, you will on Thursday, but for the longest time I’ve been talking about getting a mic arm.

Instead of having the mic on a stand in front of me, as you’ve seen in all my videos since I started doing my YouTube channel in July, when you watch my videos, you see the microphone is on my desk in a stand in front of me. Well, now I got a mic arm. To where I don’t have it in front of me. It’s coming in from the side and it is clamped onto my desk.

This is like a lifesaver for me. This is so much better. I should have gotten this from the very beginning because I don’t know. I just. Don’t have to, I can use both of my hands when I talk, but again, you’re only going to notice this come Thursday when we have Rachel Juarez on again for this week’s weekly podcast to discuss everything going on with the Justin Baldoni case and Blake Lively, and then also me.

She’s going to give her thoughts on the Rachel, Lindsay, and Brian have a solo divorce. I know I just had Rachel on last week, but I wanted to have her on again because the Justin and Blake case has had a lot of. Paperwork out there. A lot of things have been filed and we haven’t had Rachel on to talk about it at all.

And with bachelor season starting a week from today, I was like, you know what? I want to get the Blake and Justin stuff out of the way. Cause I don’t think anything’s coming. Any new lawsuits are coming that I know of because there’s just been so much back and forth now. And again, it’s just, it’s. It’s, it’s pretty crazy.

I talked about it on Friday, but it’s just one of these things where Blake is saying, look, this is exactly what an abuser does. He blames it on the victim. And Justin saying, no, no, no, I’m not the victim. She’s the victim. And it’s like, look, I know again, everybody’s got to have a, not just an opinion. You have to have a black or white opinion on this.

You can’t just be, Hey, there’s a lot we don’t know here, but honestly, that’s the answer. You can say, Steve, what do you mean? We don’t know. There’s filings that we can read online. We know what Blake claimed. We know what Justin claimed. Yeah, but not all of it is backed up with evidence. Those are just complaints that they’ve both filed.

So you’ll hear Rachel talk about it a little bit more. And when she comes on the podcast Thursday, but a lot of this is going to be decided in discovery because Blake’s team is going to ask Justin’s team to hand over all this stuff and vice versa. So while there were a lot of sweeping claims made in both of their complaints, they didn’t have to provide evidence.

Both legal teams have said, we’ve got the evidence to show this, this, this, and this, and it’s like, okay, but we don’t have all that evidence yet. So for anybody to say, oh, I know that Blake is lying, or I know that Justin is lying, or, oh, we’ve seen this. Look, Blake Lively is one of the most powerful women in Hollywood.

Do I think that she is a peach on every set that she’s on? No, she’s an A list actress. Of course, she’s a diva. I don’t care how much of a diva she was. Did it deserve to be sexually harassed and is it sexual harassment? There’s that to look at. So a lot of things can be true in this case. It’s not so black and white, like everybody online is making it seem because when Blake first came out.

And I was probably guilty of it just as much as the next person. When Blake’s complaint first came out, I said, Justin Baldoni is done. Then Justin’s two lawsuits came out and I’m not saying Blake is done because she’s most certainly not. But I also took into account, okay, there are things that she did wrong here, but nothing, and I will say this to defend Blake, nothing Blake has done is criminal.

Nothing Blake has done made Justin uncomfortable in a physical sense. So I just think there’s so much left that we don’t know about. And I want to bring Rachel on to discuss this from a legal side, because she has read everything. She’s read Blake’s complaint. She’s read Justin’s two lawsuits. The one against the New York Times and the one against Blake and Ryan.

What this latest one, bringing up Taylor Swift in all this, has to do with anything? Is it a big deal? Should he have brought Taylor into this? She has a lot of thoughts on this. And Rachel and I don’t necessarily agree on every single part of what’s going on here. I can tell you that right now. We’re definitely on the same side on everything going on in the Clayton and Laura Owens case.

Oh, and by the way, David Gingras, Laura Owen’s lawyer, might have his response to Greg Woodnick’s brief that came in a couple weeks ago by the time I record with Rachel on Wednesday, so we might be adding that in, but we’re going to spend more time on the Justin and Blake stuff because you know where Rachel stands on the Laura Owen’s Clayton Eckerd case.

And regardless, I mean, I, I, Gingras’s response is just going to be a response to what Woodnick wrote in his brief. And we already pretty much know what he’s going to say. His whole case is this is a rule 26 case sanctions shouldn’t have been given to Laura because rule 26 wasn’t observed. And every other lawyer and every other person who has looked at this said, yes, we understand that, but she can be sanctioned other under other statutes.

And just, and. Maybe Judge Mata didn’t specify that in her 19 page brief and her ruling in favor of Clayton, but it doesn’t mean that an appellate court won’t see it the same way. So I’m sure Gingras’s response will be, Oh, look at this case that they cited. This is wrong. And this is wrong, but he won’t ever.

It’s a red Herring. He won’t ever dive into the fact that he’ll never say, Laura cannot be sanctioned under those statutes because she absolutely can. And every other lawyer outside of David Gingras has said, this is what she was sanctioned for. She can be sanctioned outside of rule 26. So that’s why we won’t spend too much time on that on Thursday.

Or Wednesday, when we record Thursday, when you listen to it, but yeah, it’s going to be, hopefully he’ll have that done in the next two days so I can bring it up. If not, I’ll just do it on a daily roundup with her sometime, probably next week. I did want to say that last week when I gave the episode by episode spoilers for grant season, I told you it’d be up on my website either today or tomorrow.

It’s going to be up tomorrow on my website. So you have it in written form. It’ll always be up there. You can refer back to it while the season is airing. Cause I didn’t expect. Many people, if any, to remember off the top of their head. Hey, who are the seven women who go home in episode one at the first row ceremony and who are the four that go home at the second row ceremony?

And who are the four that go home at the third row ceremony? And then how does it go from 10 to seven in Madrid? And how does it go from seven to four in Scotland? All that stuff, final four, three, two, one. Yeah. You probably know those off the top of your head by now, if you’ve been following this, but to refer back to, Oh yeah.

What happened on the basketball group date and where did the drama start? And who’s the drama between it’ll all be in written form. I put it out there in the podcast, but verbally I don’t expect everybody to remember what I said with my words in my podcast, it’ll be there for you to look at. On my website tomorrow.

So look for that as well. One other. Bachelor nation note. I’m sure if you follow both of them separately on Instagram, you probably saw that Caitlin and Zach Clark both attended the Philadelphia Eagles playoff game yesterday, every video and every photo that Caitlin posts, she makes sure that Zach isn’t in it.

In them, but we know they’ve been dating since January of last year, if not a little bit earlier than that. First time we saw any evidence of them together was New Year’s Eve of last year. But even though Caitlin did not post. Anything with Zach in it. Yes, we know that they’re together and they were together yesterday.

I actually got a picture sent to me of Caitlin and Zach together. Post Eagles Rams game yesterday. They were in the lobby of the courtyard Marriott Navy yard in Philly. So I don’t feel the need to post that picture. It’s. Quite obvious that they were together all day yesterday. It’s been quite obvious.

I mean, I’ve had probably three or four pictures of them together over the last six or nine months where people have seen them out and sent me the picture. I’ve never posted one of them because I don’t feel the need to, because we know they’re together. All you gotta do is follow both of them on Instagram.

I don’t follow Zach. I follow Caitlin, but. I know Caitlyn isn’t a football fan, so if she’s going to Philly and I know that Philly is Zach’s team, before I was even sent that picture of them post game, it was obvious they were together. They’re not trying to hide anything. But Caitlyn is just keeping this relationship private even though she knows a lot of people are very well aware of her spending time with Zach.

For over a year now, but she just said she’s gonna handle things differently. This is the way she chooses to do it That’s fine. I mean the picture I have isn’t very invasive. It’s far away. They’re both sitting on a couch in their Eagles gear It’s like whatever. I don’t need to post it. You know, they were together So that’s in case you weren’t following Caitlin yesterday or Zach yesterday.

Just know they went to the Eagles playoff game.
