Big news in the Dancing With the Stars World, for the first time ever, dancing with the Stars is gonna hold their own convention.
The DWTS Con was announced yesterday on Good Morning America. It’s gonna be a three day experience featuring live dance performances, panels, q and a sessions, interactive photo opportunities, exhibits, merchandise, all which come from the last 20 years of the show. Pro dancers are gonna be there, former contestants are gonna be there three days, July 31st through August 2nd, it’s gonna be in Palm Springs.
At the Acrisure Arena, like I said, July 31st through August 2nd. Right now, so far, they’ve announced pros going onto this, Brandon Armstrong, Lindsey Arnold, Riley, Arnold, Alan Burston, Hailey, bill Charna, Burgess, Whitney, Carson Vo Murkowski, Sasha Furber, Jenna Johnson, Danielle Kara, Pasha pov, Jan Nik, GLBS of Chenko, Emma Slater, Ezra, soa, Britt Stewart, I mean.
All the ones you really wanna see, Mirrorball champions and FA favorites that have been announced include Hannah Brown, Danielle Fi, Sochi Gomez, Joey Grazi, GDE, Elaine Hendricks, Rashad Jennings, Amanda KUDs, Whitney Levitt, F Parks, jojo swa, Johnny Weir, rumor Willis, Kristi Gucci, ginger Z. That’s been announced as of now.
Three days. I mean, if you’re a Dancing With the Stars fanatic, you are in heaven with this announcement. I think that’s pretty cool. It’s only a matter of time before this happened, right? Like now that, that it’s been announced, you’re wondering why it took them so long? Because this fan base is big and it’s very passionate and I think it’s great for everybody that’s interested in this show to go to Dancing With the Stars Con in 2026.
Now the other thing, dancing with the Stars related that has made the rounds online and people think, and people have speculated that there is going to be a Dancing With the Stars show at some point coming up. That is going to be almost a reality competition. I’ve seen people, content creators talk about this, where there’s gonna be a dancer with a star show where they choose.
It’s gonna be all pro dancers and these pro dancers are gonna be competing for a spot to be a pro on next season of Dancing With the Stars. There has been no formal announcement, as far as I know. I don’t see every content creator out there and what they put out. I know it hasn’t been publicly announced, but there have been rumors floating around that content creators have said, but they haven’t really given any details.
They just said it’s coming. I found out a few details yesterday. Number one, this show is happening. Number two, it’s gonna be hosted by Robert Irwin. And number three, I know two of the judges are Mark Ballas and his mother. And then I guess the fourth point is this will be a show where a pro is selected to be part of Dancing With the Stars next season.
So look for that. I expect that announcement to come. I, I, I can’t even tell you. I don’t know when the announcement is coming. I just got it confirmed yesterday that this show is a go. It will be a pro being selected by judges. Two of those judges are Mark Ballast and his mom. I’m pretty sure there will be a third judge, and Robert Irwin is hosting This show has not filmed yet.
I’m sure it’s gonna be like Dancing with the Stars. It’s gonna be a weekly competition show where people are voted off, but it’s coming and I don’t know when the announcement is coming, but clearly this has to air before. The fall season of Dance with the Stars. So people that have been covering it, yes, it’s been greenlit, it is happening.
So look forward to that. And when the announcement comes, I have no idea, but expect that. And when the announcement does come, you’ll be hearing Robert Irwin’s the host, mark and his mother are two of the judges that I know for sure, Nick and Natalie getting called out again. Shocker from somebody who started their career in Bachelor Nation, but are now part of the Southern Charm family.
We remember Sally Carson. She was the one who showed up the first night on Clayton’s season, but then went back to her room and said, yeah, I shouldn’t do this. Clayton followed her back to her room, offered her a rose, and she said no. Well, then she became she went down to Paradise. Remember the whole thing with the vibrator in her per, I think it was her luggage, right?
And Wells retold the story and made fun of her and all that. Well, she joined the Southern Charm family, Sally Carson. If you watch Southern Charm, you know who she is. Well, she went on SiriusXM’s page six radio yesterday and talked about Austin Kroll going on with Natalie and Nick and basically saying didn’t like the way that was handled.
And she is obviously friends with Austen Kroll. I don’t watch that show, but I. Think at some point people have shipped them and maybe they’ve hooked up at some point, but she is friends with them. She went on that podcast to basically say she thinks there should be a public apology. The one thing that she did reveal on that podcast, she said, it honestly kind of broke my heart for him.
I called him and made sure he was okay. I’m like, I’m so sorry. That must have been really hard. She pointed out that that line of questioning about Austin’s late sister came out of nowhere. She could tell that Kroll was uncomfortable, but what she did confirm is that Austin is good and revealed that Nick and Natalie have both called him and apologized, but she also added.
I do think there should be a public apology for sure. They definitely did apologize to Austin, but I think that needed to be a lot bigger than that. She then said, I’m kind of like, are y’all not wanting to apologize? Because you don’t really want to admit it was wrong, Sally. That’s exactly why they haven’t apologized publicly and now knowing, assuming Sally is telling the truth here, which I can’t imagine, she made this up, this to me makes it even worse for Nick and Natalie to privately apologize but not publicly Say, Hey.
We contacted Austin and we apologized to him. I just wanted to let you, the listeners know we have apologized to him. Why not admit that publicly? It’s because they can’t admit that they were wrong. Like you’re admitting you’re wrong by going to Kyle privately, or excuse me Austin privately and telling him.
And apologizing to him privately, but the fact that they can’t publicly say that they did that and it had to come from somebody else. A friend of Austin’s, Sally Carson, like these people once again are showing their ass. It shows that they have so much ego that they can’t admit that they screwed up.
You’ll only admit privately that you screwed up to the person you screwed up with. But why not tell your listeners, Hey. We hear you. We’ve seen the feedback. We know you’re upset with how the Austin interview was handled. Just to let you know, we hear you, we recognize you. We have apologized and we apologize to you.
The listeners at this point, it’s so late, it’s been two weeks. Anything they do at this point is absolutely performative and it doesn’t mean shit. And the fact that we now know that they privately apologized to Austen. But still have not publicly come out and said one word about this shows you how absolute frauds these two are.
And absolutely so ego driven that they can’t admit they made a mistake. Good Lord. And finally, are you really shocked to hear that I pretty much butchered my whole PetSmart thing from yesterday? So yesterday I told you over the weekend I saw a video that said I was today years old when I found out, and their story was that the store PetSmart is actually PetSmart, P-E-T-S-M-A-R-T.

yesterday I was informed that no, Steve, you’re right, it’s pet. Smart, because if you look at the logo, pet is in red, PET is in red, and smart is in blue. So I just said I need to Google this. What is it? Is it pet smart or pets smart? Well, apparently it’s both. At one point when I guess they started out, they were PetSmart, but.
If you Google it and you ask, is it Pet Smart or Pet Smart, it says, the correct official name is Pet Smart, written as one word with a capital S, signifying the new word PET, and then smart while it originated as Pet Smart. The company rebranded to Pet Smart to signify a focus on being a smart solution for your pets.
But then it says the pronunciation is generally intended to sound like Pet Smart. So yes, it used to be Pet Smart, but as the stores gained a recognition for being helpful and educational to customers corporate, change it to Pet Smart. So now I don’t even remember the TikTok account where I saw this over the weekend.
So basically now I was right and I think. This TikTok account was wrong because now I’m starting to question what I even saw when it’s, I know I saw a video that said I was today years old when I realized this, and I thought that video said, I didn’t realize this whole time it was pet smart. I’ve been calling it PetSmart, which is what I’ve been doing, but now that I’m thinking back and I can’t even find the video, I think that video might have been saying the video might have been wrong.
They might have been saying this whole time I thought it was PetSmart when it’s really pet smart. I’m telling you, I, I, I, you listeners have my word on this. It’s the last time I’ll ever talk about this. ’cause it’s even confusing me the last two minutes. I might’ve said it wrong at some point. I’m just reading you though, what Google says.
The official name is Pet Smart, PET, capital P, small E, small t, capital S-M-A-R-T. So they’re signifying two completely separate words, even though it’s written as one word. But yes, they are insinuating. Your pets are smart. That’s why it’s pet smart. My brain. Is on overload right now. I need a break. Anyway, thank you all for listening.
