I know I’ll tell you in about it in a little bit. A couple things that we have found out in regards to love is blind contestants. Emma and Alyssa have both done interviews and we’re also gonna talk a little bit more. About love is blind in general, and gonna discuss a little bit of the traitors that I went over on Friday.
So let’s get started. Let’s start here. Do you know what happened around February of 1997 in television world? You might remember this, you might not. Donna Martin was held at gunpoint at the TV station on the campus of California University. I don’t mean to laugh, but that is gonna be the live rewatch we have tomorrow at 3:00 PM Eastern Time on my Patreon channel, patreon.com/reality.
Steve, we’re gonna rewatch episode 18 of season seven. It’s about three months before they graduated college. Donald was the weather person at CU during senior year. She started off as the weather person and then she was getting stalked by a creeper, so she took some time off. Well, the day she returned to the station, the creeper decided to reveal himself and basically hold everybody hostage.
Pretty intense episode, even though you knew nobody in the main. A cast was going to die, but you were just gonna wonder how are they getting out of this? And I would say 60 to 70% of the episode takes place inside the TV station once this guy has everybody hostage. We’re gonna watch that tomorrow. It’s got some great lines in it.
It’s got some horrible acting per usual, but it’s also got some pretty intense scenes to say the least. The title of the episode’s called We Interrupt This Program because frankly, anytime in the eighties and nineties when there was a major national news and you’re watching a sporting event, or you’re just watching your TV show and the news breaks in, they would always say, we interrupt this program for this news bulletin.
Well, that’s what they had to do at CU when Crazy Ass Evan decided, I want Donna to like me. I’ve been hounding her and harassing her. And by the way, Donna was under the impression this whole time that the guy who attempted to EE her two years earlier in their college life, I believe it was during their sophomore year where she was almost RA paid by a guy named Garrett Slain.
He had just been released. We found out a few episodes earlier. He had just been released from prison for what he did to her, so she just assumed he was back on the prowl. She didn’t know it was somebody that she was working with. Ooh. So yeah, we’ll watch that tomorrow, 3:00 PM Eastern Time on my Patreon channel.
Some Love is Blind Talk here, and because the first six episodes dropped. On Wednesday. Now some of these people can go on podcasts, they can do interviews. I’m sure you’ve seen some floating around over the weekend. There are two that stuck out to me. Number one, Emma, who was involved with the most men.
Remember she was dating, well, not dating, but she was talking to Steven and she was talking to. Connor and then she ultimately ends up with Mike. Steven was the one that everybody’s been talking about because he was so creepy. Just on the show that we saw. Remember he was the one that was pressing her for details about her first kiss, her virginity, and when she told him, he made a comment that she’s a late bloomer, all this stuff.
Well, she did an interview with us Weekly and said, however you thought it came across on tv. It was actually kind of worse. She said, we knew each other. We’d been dating for hours, but it felt like he flipped a switch and he was like, no. I think maybe he just wanted to be fun and silly and goofy because that’s who he is.
But in real life it was a lot longer stretched out version, but he was really trying to get me to open up about virginity. I was like, I don’t want to. Why is this relevant? You guys are seeing such a clipped version. But that conversation was kind of a drawn out like minute and a half or two minutes. It just started making me feel like if you were my person, you wouldn’t pry if I felt uncomfortable.
It just became more uncomfortable for me, and I think through it all, that was a sign that he is not my person. He also kept interrupting her, which she didn’t like. She said, I was trying to formulate thoughts. It started from fine to like what is going on and for me to, to not be able to comprehend. And his mind was moving so fast like he was talking and I couldn’t communicate as fast as him.
So it was very odd. And then she said by talking to Steven Moore, she realized she had a much stronger connection with Mike and Connor. Something I pointed out in the live that I did on Thursday, which Emma doesn’t go over here, and again, I, I’m surprised nobody brought this up to her. Maybe they will at the reunion show, but the fact that nobody has brought up to Emma.
Emma, you were talking to Connor and you told Connor through the wall, he is your number one. Right after that, he was basically, you didn’t know this going into that conversation, but he was going into that conversation to break up with you, to end it with you so he could move forward with Brie. And nobody’s brought this up to her because the very next time she went into the pods was to talk to Mike and she made that comment to Mike, my number two, and I just ended it, which wasn’t the case.
She had literally just told Connor. You’re my number one. And then he broke up with her and then she tells Mike, yeah, my number two and I just ended it. Well, no you didn’t. He was your number one. Like why? Why has nobody asked her about this? I don’t understand. Like that’s kind of a big deal. Now, something I wanna say in regards to spoilers.
Obviously I gave you the engaged couples last week before the episodes dropped, and a lot of you have asked who got married and who still is married. I do know who got married. You’ll be getting that before Wednesday’s episode, and there was a report from the sun, which anytime you mention the sun, you obviously have to take anything they say with a grain of salt because this is the same sun that gave Laura Owens a platform without doing any research whatsoever.
And they just took her word for whatever they, whatever she told them. But the son came out this weekend and said, Hey, we have paperwork that says this particular couple got married and it has the date that they got married last year. Here’s what I’ll say in regards to what the son reported over the weekend.
I don’t wanna throw any names out, even though they mentioned the names in the, in their article. You can go look if you want. I’m just telling you that’s wrong. They’re wrong.
