Well as predicted yesterday, last night’s episode was a lightning rod for social media. You can try and reason til you’re blue in the face with me, but I absolutely do not understand the level of hatred being thrown Clare’s way. It baffles my mind. And no, it has nothing to do with her being on my podcast three years ago. Does she have a right to be criticized? Absolutely. I’m talking about pure hatred and vitriol being spewed out from people on Twitter, on Instagram under my post yesterday, on the BacheloretteABC accounts, etc. It’s disgusting. Oooooohhhhh boy. A lot of strong opinions on last night’s episode, and very few of them seem to be positive. Oh what a fickle bunch of fans we have for this show. Peter’s finished in March. It’s freaking October. And if anyone thinks March was actually 7 months ago, well, you’re wrong. March 2020 was about 7 years ago in case you haven’t noticed. Just think, there were days when this franchise DIDN’T have a “Bachelorette” season or BIP. How did we function as human beings? Beats me. Well, we’re back into things and if you missed yesterday, or anything over the last 7 months, you know now that barring any shutdown of filming on Matt James’ season which began this past … Continue reading
