    Hope everyone had a happy 4th of July yesterday. Mine was a bit up and down. Why? Because the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest toyed with my emotions. For 2 hrs it was on a weather delay. And then there were legitimate Twitter accounts saying it was canceled – until it wasn’t. Which was great. Thank you. My day was made. Granted, the extra waiting didn’t seem to help as I can’t remember the last time Joey Chestnut ate as little as 62 hot dogs, but he still beat the 2nd place guy by double digits.     My god, we’re like 20% through Charity’s season already and it’s only through 2 episodes! Well, we don’t know for sure since they haven’t laid out how many episodes there are, when the finale airs, or when BIP starts, but knowing that hometowns is episode #6, unless overnights or finale takes 2 episodes to air, this will be a 9 episode season including the “Men Tell All.” If we have a two-night finale then we’ll have a 10 episode season. So actually at worst we are 20% through the season already. This show just started last week, right? I’m not delusional in thinking it’s almost over already.     Three months off seems like three years. Seriously. I know Zach’s season ended one month ago today, and we’ve had two whole seasons of this show film (Charity’s and “Bachelor in Paradise”) before last night even hit the air, but it’s still incredible to me how long ago three months seemed.
