    A sweet reader of my recaps remarked last week that Bria’s crazed behavior — you know, the kind she exhibited each of the five times she flew into a rage during the premiere episode because a guy she’d known for all of forty-eight hours was speaking with other girls during a DATING SHOW — would lead to producers tossing her from the villa for good.     Well that sure was an interesting night last night. I’m sitting watching Paradise minding my own business and the power goes out with 30 min left in the show. I’ve been in this house 5 years (almost exactly to the day), and I can count on one hand how many times the power has gone out. When it has, it’s momentarily and comes back on seconds later. There was no storm last night, no rain, nothing. I guess something must’ve happened to a power line. After about 30 minutes, I realized it was probably lasting longer than normal.     It finally happened. Took me 2 ½ years but I finally got a new dog. If you didn’t see on social media over the weekend I posted that I adopted a 3 yr old beagle rescue named Luka. Up until a month ago, she was in a dirt pen in a backyard of an Oklahoma breeder. She was found there and brought to a foster mom here in Dallas about a month ago. This wasn’t something spur of the moment. I knew at some point I’d own another dog I just didn’t know when and wasn’t in any rush. I wasn’t putting myself in position for the last 30 months to adopt.
