Something else that I mentioned on Twitter last week was the fact that last weekend was “Bachelor in Paradise” testing weekend. If you followed along, a lot of former contestants who don’t live in LA were either posting on their IG stories they were on planes or in hotels…that’s because they were in LA for BIP testing. Just because you were on a previous season (or even Becca’s season) doesn’t mean they just call you up, ask you to be on, and then you’re on. Everyone has to go back in for testing. Medical is all done through the mail, but they bring people in to talk to producers again, answer the psych test questions, talk to the psychologist, meet with lawyers to discuss things that happened last season and basically give them the lowdown on what to do if you see something you’re not comfortable with etc. However, just because someone might’ve been in LA doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll get on the show. That’s why it’s called testing. Hell, some might even get flown to Mexico in the first week of June and told they’ll be on the show and still not make it on like our podcast guest from a couple weeks ago Mikey Tenerelli told us happened to him. So I won’t know the cast until we get closer to filming, which has always been the first week of June for the first four seasons of the show. I doubt that’s going to change.
