Podcast #110 – Reader Emails

As we close out 2018, and with last week being the reveal of the episode-by-episode spoilers from this season, figured now would be as good of time as any to answer your “Reader Emails” in podcast form. A lot of questions were sent in as you can tell by the length of this podcast. I tried not to repeat any questions, even though there were plenty of questions asked more than once. When I do “Reader Emails” in a podcast, I tend to give longer answers than I do in written form, hence the length. But there were a lot of good questions this week pertaining to a whole bunch of topics, so I think a lot of stuff was covered. I’m sure there’s a thing or two I may have missed or wasn’t asked, but hey, that’s why I have a “Reader Email” bag every week for you to get your questions in. That’ll star back up on Wed, Jan. 9th, so start getting your questions in now. Thanks to all who listened in 2018 (and even in 2017) and for making this podcast one of the most successful ones out there. Couldn’t have done it without you. Hope everyone had a great 2018 and looking forward to an even better 2019. As always, if you want to respond to today’s podcast and mention how excellent you thought it was, by all means, go ahead. My Twitter handle is (@RealitySteve) in case you don’t know by now. Enjoy…

A message to Steve: I love to read your spoilers and reader emails. However, I have zero interest in listening to an 85 minute podcast to do so. Can you possibly go back to the written format? If so, I can skim through the ones I want to read in less than 20 minutes.

Steve stated once that he doesn’t read comments left on his posts. I would email him instead, just an fyi. 🙂

Agree with shenanigans. I don’t want to listen to Steve go on and on. At least in written format (where he repeats and repeats) one can skim much faster. And if anyone believes Steve doesn’t read these comments… Yeah, right!

@mariet, I have read also that RS doesn’t read the comments on his blog. However, I agree with you, I think he probably does, why wouldn’t he.

I too prefer to read ‘reader emails’, rather than listen to them. I thought RS said he would write them up too….though I’m not sure if I heard that correctly.

Please go back to the written spoilers and reader emails You’re going to lose fans otherwise.

I agree with everyone on the podcasts VS written spoilers. I don’t have the patience to sit and listen to a long podcast, but I can choose what I want to read and skip over the rest on a written spoiler. If the podcasts are replacing the written spoilers, I won’t be coming to this website in the future.

I’m with all of you. I’m thinking that Steve is taking the easier route doing the podcasts. I’m a writer and now well how time intensive it is document as much as he does. But most of us followers go to his site to READ spoilers, not listen to them. I find them very tedious and hard to get through. Very disappointing with Colton’s season starting next week. I do hope Steve reads these messages and takes our advice. I cannot believe he’d even do a podcast with reader’s emails! That is ridiculous!

Stevo has gotten so lazy! I will not listen to any podcasts. Who has time for that?! Even though Stevo’s writing is awful and inaccurately written, at least peeps can skim through all the unnecessary bs explanations and rhetoric he writes. This blog is going down the tubes. You know Stevo reads the comments. Anyone as self important as him would read them. You can bank on that.
