Podcast #139 – Interview with Vienna Girardi

A long time coming for today’s podcast guest #139, as Vienna Girardi joins me for the first time to talk about her time on the show, her post-show life, and the tragic loss of her twin girls in the summer of 2017. I don’t know how many of you even know or remember the story, and Vienna knew I was going to bring it up, but I did not expect her to spend almost 15 minutes talking about it. Truly a heartbreaking story to hear her re-live that and I hope that at least one person out there who may have suffered through something similar takes the time to listen today and realizes that you can make it through, no matter how difficult it may seem. Vienna hasn’t been on TV for almost 10 years now, so I don’t know how many of you even remember her, but she didn’t get the greatest edit on the show. Whatever you remember, I’m guessing your opinion will change after hearing her on the podcast today. Just nothing like what you saw on TV. You’ll hear a side to her I’m guessing you probably didn’t think was there. As always, if you’d like to respond to the interview, please include Vienna’s Twitter handle (@ViennaGirardi) in your replies so she can see them. I can’t thank her enough for coming on today and sharing such a tough story with everyone. Hope you enjoy…

Didn’t recognize her at all in that photo – she’s had a lottt of work done.

I thought the same thing! Her face is completely different. I don’t get why women want to make themselves totally unrecognizable when there was nothing wrong with their looks to begin with.

@aps1 and ctrealitygirl, maybe she has, but I think she looks great regardless, and I love what appears to be her natural hair colour.

I listened to a little of her interview and I’m glad I did because I couldn’t stand her and Jake and all their drama and hatred towards each other. She has really grown up and seems to be doing well and I’m happy that she’s in a better place. I also love the color of her hair and I thought she looked good in the picture. Not sure about getting work done on her face because sometimes the change in hair color and different makeup (or lack of) can change a person’s look. I wish her luck in having a baby some day.

I remember Vienna’s season. The picture here may be photoshopped. It doesn’t look like her at all!

I do agree with you tinyred500. Vienna does look great with dark hair. I just don’t understand why anyone would want to completely change their appearance when there was nothing wrong with the way they look. And, for the record, I actually liked her on Jake’s season and had picked her to win as they truly thought they were well suited for one another. Too bad Jake turned about to be such a jerk. I really enjoyed listening to the podcast.

It was great to hear Vienna’s side of things after her turbulent “On the Wings Of Love” dumpster fire of an experience with Jake.

Her comments on Gia and Tenley’s alleged dynamics with Jake was thought-provoking to me, as well. It makes me wonder how many Bachelor/Bachelorettes have that same lack of chemistry with 2/3 of the F3 leaving a clear “winner” to be chosen. How many of the F2 & F3 are certain they won’t get picked, yet have to pretend that they hope they are?????

This girl was in a sorority at my college so that bit about her “not knowing how to be friends with girls” is complete BS. During rush, I was the girl she had to show around the house and she was a complete bitch. Her “edit” didn’t surprise me at all.
