Comment: I haven’t paid attention. I only follow Amanda on IG but I hadn’t heard anything to suggest they weren’t. Wasn’t there some photo shoot recently that both were in? Or am I remembering that wrong?

At least with Michael Porter, Madison has someone who could match her in one on one basketball. Pilot Pete could barely dribble on their date. Good point. She probably also would want to date someone that was actually interested in her.
I tuned into Clickbait second episode and Hannah Ann said she got called out for using the word “like” in every sentence the first episode and she would try to cut it down. Well she must have said like about 300 times.. not sure how she overcomes it in future broadcasts. Hannah Ann says like about as much as Victoria Fuller drops the F Bomb in a sentence. I don’t think this show will make it… too many commercials… too much talking over each other and too little substance. I still have only listened to the 3 ½ minutes of the first episode, and I’m guessing it’ll stay that way. Nothing against them, I just already listen to enough podcasts that aren’t Bachelor related. That’s not one I plan on adding.

I plan on definitely coming to your Vegas party this June with some friends if it happens. It will be my 30th. I understand the hate for reddit.. most of them don’t listen to all your podcasts and instagram lives like me. They make assumptions based off of one Reddit postt. Example would be “He’s a good guy”. In that live you thoroughly explained yourself and that was left off the recaps. Excited for the season to start.. just wanted to say all the reddit peeps out there aren’t haters! Keep up the great work :).

Yeah, the Vegas party this year was cancelled for obvious reasons. In the five years I’ve had it, it’s always been the first Friday in June (except for one year). And I usually start promoting it in the beginning of January because it fills up so quickly. But with things still unknown going in to next year, I don’t know when it’ll be. I don’t think by the first Monday in January I will 100% know for sure whether I can or should throw a party in a room with a 100 people. So we’ll see. I plan on having it in 2021 at some point, assuming it’s safe.
Kinda crazy that 2020 is the first year since 2010 where I haven’t gone to Vegas at least 3 times. Haven’t been once. I miss it tremendously. Haven’t traveled anywhere in 2020 actually. Part COVID, part funds. But yeah, strange year.

I listened to your entire podcast today with Kat while packing up my house (I’m moving) and I loved it! You guys should definitely do that more often! My question: You mentioned you don’t really like to drink that much. I have been following you a long time and never knew that. Is there a reason why? Have you always not drank very much or did something lead you to make that decision?
Comment: I’ve just never been a big drinker. No real reason. I’ll have wine when I’m out at dinner. Or I’ll drink in Vegas when I’m out, but it’s more social drinking. Like, drinking to get drunk or hammered, geez, it’s probably been over 10 years since I did that. Maybe more. I just don’t see the point.

Hi, I don’t think I’ve ever heard this discussed before…I’m wondering why the contestants don’t say, “Xxxx producer told me to do this/say this!” to defend themselves when they get called out for doing something crappy. I would definitely use that excuse! I know they couldn’t air it if they did, but I just feel we would have heard about that in interviews at some point over the years. Does their contract say they can never disclose what they talk about with producers to other contestants while on the show? How do they prevent this from happening, or do the contestants really not recognize this manipulation that goes on?

Comment: Because their contract basically prevents them from saying it. And most of these contestants, like 99% of them, don’t want to piss off production so they just go along with it and know not to ruffle any feathers.

Did you get to watch Nick and Ashley’s bachelor trivia faceoff? I found it to be easy and was wondering how you scored. Nick was being such a sore loser. Even if Jared wasn’t possibly signalling strategies, she still would have won regardless, only because she landed on categories she was more familiar with.
Comment: No. I try to avoid anything that involves Nick Viall. Although, because Jen Sterger is a friend, I saw her promoting it since wasn’t that the “Schmoedown?” Unfortunately, I didn’t watch. Nothing Nick does really interests me at this point.

Question for you that is unrelated to this season. A few months back you tweeted that there was a big story in bachelor nation that you thought was about to break and were surprised it hadn’t already. Did the story ever break? If not could you finally reveal what it was?

Comment: No, it’s never been reported, and no, I don’t plan on revealing it myself. I’ve always said, if/when the media ever reports it, then I’ll tell you that was the story I was referring to.
