Well, to say yesterday was a hell of a day in this country would be a giant understatement. So much to say, but honestly, so little to say. Anyone that wants to educate themselves about why yesterday happen will. Those that don’t want to, won’t. Simple as that. Not much more needs to be said on my end. Brett and I recorded yesterday around 3:30 ET while things were happening and we briefly discuss it at the beginning, but then we dive into his new podcast, his @BachDiversity IG account he is a part of, Brett questions me on my recent podcasts with Tayshia and Evan’s exes, Matt’s role as the “Bachelor,” his thoughts on Matt praying night one, and much, much more. This podcast kinda went in a direction I wasn’t expecting, but I was all for it. There’s a way to disagree with someone without it being contentious and spewing hate. I appreciate Brett’s thoughts on the matters and the way he presented them. It was refreshing considering the way other people go about it. As always, if you’d like to respond to the interview, please include Brett’s Twitter handle (@BrettSVergara) in your replies. Thanks again to Brett for coming on as he’s always a good interview.

Hope you had the same outrage when BLM and Antifa were literally burning down people’s businesses and whacking people over the head with bricks and tire chains! Funny, I don’t really remember that you did, and that sh!t was going on all summer long. Strange how the idea that “violence is the only recourse for the voiceless” suddenly doesn’t seem like such a good idea when the voiceless have different opinions from yours, huh?

Except ladyjane these terrorists weren’t “voiceless.” They are part of the party in power and were criminally encouraged by that leadership. Then treated by Capitol police like it was a school class trip. If this was BLM no one would have made it up the Capitol steps without being shot/gassed/arrested. It was white male privilege at it’s finest (or darkest) moment.

Oh really? When your vote is stolen through voter fraud and a coup and then big tech tries to silence and censor you “China-style,” you’re pretty much voiceless. And how many BLM thugs were shot/gassed/arrested during nights and nights of rioting where buildings were actually burned and destroyed and people were run over by cars and attacked with bricks and chains? Not many considering the damage. And let’s be clear – many of the Capitol rioters were, in fact, Antifa stoking the chaos. The joke is, the power elites that are behind the coup hate you liberals as much as they hate conservatives. In fact, they probably despise you more for being sheep. Anderson Cooper just said the “deplorables” can go back to eating at Olive Garden – LOL, that’s Steve’s favorite restaurant. It’s nice to know what they think of us peons while they eat at the French Laundry with no masks and no social distancing. Wake up! Your country is being stolen from you!

Those Trump rally goers on the 6th were listening to Trump speak in a different location still when that Capitol raid happened by ANTIFA morons disguised as Trump supporters. From first hand knowledge here.
Steve has become little more than a woke joke as he has befriended and ass kissed those in Bachelor nation that he used to make fun of. They all want to be activists because it looks cool. They care nothing for black business owners that have had their entire lives destroyed by ANTIFA and BLM terrorists.
Steve used to be apolitical but now he’s just another activist liberal joke like the rest of these Bachelor influencer celebs. The Bachelor was an escape from the crap of this world and now it’s seeped into even the show now. It’s exhausting. I’m about out. I’m all for the more diverse casts and all, but let’s stop making it about white people evil rhetoric.

I’m a registered Republican who doesn’t like Trump so much. So here goes:
The summer of unrest was tied to police shootings, and then turned into people saying it was over systemic violence. IT was a cause (stop police shooting) that was leveraged by a political group (BLM< not blm). It got political over an issue that shouldn't have been. I think we can all agree that we hate to see people die in shooting of any kind, including when the police are the shooters. I don't think that is controversial. But politics took over, and then violence and craziness ensued.
Last week was fueled by odd conspiracy theories not rooted in truth, egged by by a President who cares only for himself. And yeah, he did great things in the middle east, tax policy was ok, but he still spend like a teenager with daddy's credit card. HE also set a tone that was caustic, confrontational and enabled certain dumb theories and dangerous groups when he shouldn't have. For 5 years.
The many court challenged on the election steal failed, and there were many challenges, because no real evidence could be shown. Theories, opinions given. But not facts. So the courts rejected them. Many of those judges were Trump appointees. This led to Trump being Trump and egging on others to act for him in a very poor way. So we got the Capitol riots. So he is complicit.
But here is thee thing. Trump was a pendulum swing from the Obama arrogance and identity politics. And now Biden is a pendulum swing from the Trump chaos. But parties are to blame. If Biden keep up the identity politics of hte Obama era, things will only get worse. And if Trump supporters don't act like he is some political messiah, things will only get worse.
Both sides are to blame. IN equal measure. Both have contributed to the mess we are in. Both act childish. And it needs to stop. WE need leaders with decorum, with dignity, and with the ability to disagree without being condescending and snarky. And we need DC politicians to be better.
I did not vote for Trump or Biden. Not in 2016, not in 2020. I don't support either. But man, I sure hope some good people fill the leadership void we have in DC fast. Or it'll only get worse. Decency needs to reign.
