I’m curious about two other reality shows that I think that you watch.
Dancing with the Stars
-Which contestant has surprised you with their dancing this season? Jimmie Allen. He was great. Sucks he went home last night but I’m impressed with him.
– Who are you rooting for? Probably Amanda considering what she’s gone through the last year. And Cody because I used to take his rides all the time. You know, when I actually used my Peloton.
– What do you think about the Judge’s save, in particular, Len’s ability to override the other judges? I get it and it’s a way to make sure high scoring/popular teams don’t get sent home by the fan base who turn it into a popularity contest. But that particular rule only really makes sense if there’s 3 judges. I understand his vote is the deciding vote if it’s 2-2, but whatever.
-Who is your favorite pro? Geez, tough one. I like Witney, Lindsay, and Val.
Survivor
-Who are you rooting for? A lot of likable people this season. I honestly would be fine with anyone right now. I’m just over these twists. It’s getting out of hand.
– Though it’s not the first time it happened (fake idol), what did you think of Xander essentially flushing out Liana’s advantage? Did you want her to steal his idol? I thought it was great. Especially considering us the audience had no idea he’d made a fake and they didn’t show us the footage until after he’d pulled it off. Usually we the audience know someone made a fake idol heading into Tribal. I think I liked it better the way it happened last week. Great drama.
– How do you feel about the advantages in general this season? Ridiculous.
Fun fact, Shawna Mitchell’s (S6) twin sister was one of my bosses 6 years ago.

Comment: Proof right there that while I may have seen every episode of Survivor since the season 1 finale, my memory retention sucks. That name doesn’t even ring the slightest bell. She could’ve finished last, or she could’ve finished top 4. I have no idea who that is. And even better, I don’t even know what season 6’s theme was or where it was shot.

RS…you really are full of yourself. You don’t even know Michelle’s final four and everything you’ve told us about Claytons season isnt’ even a big deal. We barely know anything. I know, I know you’ll tell us when you feel like it. That’s so dumb. Who cares who got a date in Toronto? Is that important? You’re really full of yourself and should probably start looking for a new job.

Love your podcast! You always bring people on that speak the truth and aren’t biased-unlike the official BN podcasts. That being stated, Kate Casey being a huge Jed apologist wasn’t my favorite.
Some general questions/comments:
1. I can think of a reason for Hannah to hate Haley-Haley encouraged Jed to go on for fame, while they were in a relationship, and not take the show seriously. If I were Hannah, I’d blame Haley for being okay with Jed being a clown. Did Haley do that though? I don’t remember her saying that on my podcast. I thought it was Jed who told her that’s what he was doing, and she wasn’t familiar with the show at all and just went along with it.
2. In an Instagram Q&A on her story, someone wrote to Hannah B that they hated their brother’s girlfriend, and Hannah gave an “I feel ya” look to the camera. I had no idea how she felt. But that’s certainly interesting.
3. I wish Kate asked Jed about his hometown date-if his family knew he was dating Haley (even though Jed lied and said they weren’t serious), and Jed’s thoughts on why his own family threw him under the bus by saying he wasn’t ready for commitment, wanted to tour, etc.

Comment: There’s a lot of questions Jed could probably still answer about his time. But as I mentioned on the podcast, anyone grilling him at this point will be like, “Hey, he’s moved on, Hannah’s moved on, why is this being talked about 2 years later.” I get it. It’s almost like the shelf life of talking to people off this show is maybe 3 months, then it kinda goes away.

Hi Steve, I’m sure you’ve gotten this question a lot but what are the chances that Brandon wins? Is it possible this becomes another Hannah B or Rachel spoiler situation where the guy you reported was F2 actually wins?

I’m so “spoiled” watching Bachelor(ette) USA bc of your insight that I wonder if you ever receive the scoop for other countries as well. I’m currently watching Bachelorette Australia; have you heard any spoilers?

Comment: No. Never seen any episode from any other iterations of the show in other countries. Nor could I name anyone who’s ever been the lead in another country except Jasmine from Canada because I’d asked her to do the podcast once but, shocker, contract wouldn’t let her.

Love that you’ve turned what you do into a living. That’s ultimate #goals right there, so thank you for everything.
I have a question I can’t seem to get over- it’s no secret that ABC probably saved a boatload of money filming the last 4 seasons in one location with no travel. They saved on the costs of flying the whole cast & crew across the ocean to film for close to a month FOUR times. (Tayshia ran around in a cardboard box for her season FINALE, for crying out loud! The dates were cute, but they were obviously low budget…)
So my question is- Why don’t they offer The Bachelor gig to Tyler Cameron? They can afford him & he’s really their only saving grace at this point to gain back viewers.
I know I read somewhere that Tyler himself isn’t interested, but let’s be honest- with the kind of offer they have the capabilities to make, they’d easily get him, so in your opinion, why don’t they?

Comment: Maybe they have. But this show needs Tyler WAY more than he needs them. I really believe him when he says he wouldn’t do the show. I don’t think he gains anything from doing it whatsoever.

I was really excited to see the documentary The Lost Sons after I heard it recommended on your podcast but I can’t find it anywhere.
We have full cable and on demand and everything. It is nowhere to be found.

Ducks Meow is “reporting” that Blake Moynes is in talks to be the lead after Clayton. Have you heard of possible leads yet? I obviously trust you 80 million times more than them.
Comment: To be technical, Ducks Moy isn’t “reporting” anything. They are re-posting an email from an anonymous person, using a made up email, to say whatever they want.
I saw that email since 50 people sent it to me within minutes of it going up. There’s absolutely zero truth to that. Such a joke.
