What I do not understand about Clayton’s trial is how does the judge allow this to continue without an official pregnancy test from drs office or a sonogram. If not produced the case should not progress!
Also, are you ever going to go back to the written column? I liked it so much better as I do not follow all of the shows you talk about in the podcast.

Comment: Well we are at that stage now where a ruling is going to come soon. I think. Laura has been able to skirt everything by coming up with excuse, after excuse, after excuse. Now time is running out and sooner or later it’s going to finally become “official” that not only did Clayton never get her pregnant, but that she was never pregnant during the whole 7 months where she was telling people she was. She’s not gonna get away with this.
The columns will be there when the “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” seasons are airing, just like they have been for over 20 years. BIP and Golden Bachelor didn’t have columns this past fall because it aired on Thursdays. As long as this show airs on Mondays there will be recaps Tuesdays, just not nearly as detailed because that’s just not the way media works nowadays. I’ve seen the numbers and my podcast is by far my main income now. It doesn’t make any financial sense for me to put hours and hours in to writing a recap column that maybe accounts for 5-10% of my income. Times have changed, so I’m changing with them.

Seeing that your niece is best friends with Daisy’s sister and Daisy’s entire family is aware of this, how can you be confident in your spoiler? You’ve gotta know they’d be willing to take advantage of your connection to generate publicity for Daisy because she wants to be famous. Be careful.

Comment: I kinda do that in a way when I sometimes do “Reader Emails” on the podcast. Because all it is is me taking your questions and answering them. A lot of people don’t like hearing their own voice and don’t like doing messages like that. I don’t think I’d ever be able to do it where it’s a live back and forth.

I started watching The Bachelor kinda late (Ben Higgins season). I was watching a preview for Joey’s season. There is a girl, Daisy, that wears a cochlear device. I remember Abigail having something similar on Matt James’s season. And I’ve seen a woman that has a partial limb (arm?) that was on someone’s season. My question is, do they ever have men with any sort of “disability” on The Bachelorette? We haven’t seen any men with any sort of “disabilities” like those we’ve seen in women, no.
This show consistently shows itself to be misogynistic (having two bachelorettes at the same time, having two women host the show at the same time, when in both instances, one woman could have carried the position). Why do I continue to watch? lol!
Comment: That’s a good question. Probably as an escape from reality. I think that’s why most people watch. You just wanna have a show on every week where you don’t have to think much and can just enjoy the silliness for what it is.

Kind of funny to read an article about returning Challenge champ Brad (who looks awful) speaking to Bananas and the heartbreak about his girl hooking up on the current season (supported by 3 other returnees calling her out) and then reading an interview with Bananas where he pretends he never heard of her. Brad had planned to call down the new boyfriend if he pulled chaos. This is so bizarre. I’ve reached out to Moriah on IG but haven’t heard back.
I need to review the list of returning champs who lost this season to determine the most embarrassing. Losing to Big T is bad but some of them really talked big and then looked dumb.
Comment: I think a lot of them thought they’d all be Hall Brawl or the one where they have to steal the pole. If it was strength related I’m guessing all the champs would’ve won. But you throw a puzzle at some of them and they become mortals.

Do you know if the Bachelor Nation couples and former contestants get paid to attend the weddings? I.e did Leslie, Nancy, etc get paid to go?
I know they get free airfare and accommodations. Just wondering if there are other incentives for them to go.

Comment: It depends. Definitely flight and hotel are paid for every alumni that was there. But over the years, I gotta believe that some were also paid to show up. Way more are not paid, but there have definitely been some over the years that were.
