Great having my email lead off your morning podcast last week.
The teaser that The Bachelor threw out regarding Joey watching the Limo pull away had me and I’m sure many others wondering what it could mean. For Joey to say it never happened before made me immediately throw out the Arie/Jason mind changes that resulted in breaking up with their picks and choosing runner ups.
What I think happened is that Joey was set to propose to Kelsey and tell Daisy she was not going to be his Fiancé. So the first Limo comes and it is Daisy. He tells her all the great things about her and then drops the but….Daisy is devastated and they both are crying. Then he watches her depart in the Limo and he has a realization that he made an enormous mistake, so he tells production he wants a do over. Production tells Daisy and she is reluctant to return. Joey begs for another chance. She agrees… they get engaged.
Meanwhile Kelsey is waiting hours to get in the Limo. When she does Joey gives her the bad news and she departs.
That is the only scenario that I could come up with seeing the video and hearing this never happened before.
Comment: I mean, not far fetched. I wish I knew the answer. Although there is a part of me that still believes it’s not as big of a deal as that. Your scenario is talking about a major change of heart on the final day. I just don’t know if it’s something that big.

I may have missed this if you’ve already addressed it but Joey’s eyes look pretty yellow. They definitely don’t seem like a normal white color compared to the women. Heck it could be I need a new TV but I was wondering if you heard he might have a condition of some sort?

Do you ever watch Melrose Place? If so, who are your favourite characters? Mine are Michael, Sydney, Megan, and Brooke. Oh yes, the back-to-back episodes of 90210 and Melrose Place on Wednesday nights when I was in college was appointment television. We sometimes had a group watch.
Why do you think BIP isn’t happening this year? I think maybe ratings and it’s just not great to watch. Love Island USA is so much better. I think it’s just more about rebooting the show into something more fresh. It’s getting stale.
Next, what are your thoughts on Alyssa Milano and Shannon Doherty and the Charmed issue of the firing? I’m inclined to believe Shannon, but I wasn’t there! I haven’t read the full story of who said what so I wouldn’t have a very educated opinion. Although from the little I do know, it sounds like a she said, she said and the only people would could speak out for who’s telling the truth would be the higher ups who were working there at the time. And I doubt they’re going to.
Lastly, I agree the story between Sydney and Maria doesn’t add up. However, to see women at 28 and 30 go in like this is annoying. I’m 43 and I always roll my eyes. Grow up.

Comment: None of them have handled it great of the parties involved. With that said, once again, Toxic Bachelor Nation’s nasty messages to Sydney, Maria, Lea over an edited television show is rearing its ugly head. So unnecessary.

Sorry if you already answered this but why are they showing Jessie’s age and then host? Wild theories are fine for an answer. Another thing I haven’t even noticed this season. Like, every time he’s on screen they’re doing it?
I just don’t recall any seasons with Chris Harrison and his age displayed. Chris comes across and this older dude that is sometimes age inappropriate if he was dipping in the pool of ladies and if you tell me he is the same age as Jesse I’ll fall over in shock.
Comment: Well, Chris Harrison is 52. His last season was Matt’s which filmed in 2020 and aired in 2021. So assume Chris was 49 that season. Jesse is 45 now. So yeah, both of these guys hosted the show when they were 45. I think it just seems different because Jesse is a bigger, taller, more striking man that used to play pro football, whereas Chris Harrison, well, didn’t.

As a Canadian i am pleased to let you know that we have many great restaurants and food chains but not all are USA based.
We do not have Chili’s, Chipoltle, In & Out Burgers, Panera Bread or Yardhouse.
We do have eight Olive Gardens in Canada
We do not have any Trader Joe’s but we did have a few Targets in Canada prior to the pandemic but those stores did not last long .
Maybe that is why you have so many Snowbirds travelling to California, Arizona, and Florida – but most of us love the winter sunshine
Comment: This was in response to my info on the Sports Daily that listed how close each MLB stadium was to the nearest Chili’s. Canada’s Rogers Centre was 29th out of 30 being 85 miles away from one. That’s a shame. However, Seattle not having a Chili’s within 285 miles of their stadium seems ludicrous.

I’m a huge fan of the Traitors on Peacock and enjoy your weekly recaps on that…I wish they’d dropped all the episodes at once this year like they did with season 1, but that’s only because the suspense kills me a little bit waiting a week. It’s like the olden days of TV, I guess! This season has surprised me a bit, particularly at how well Peter is playing the game–not sure why I didn’t expect that from him.
Anyways, I just saw that they’ve announced that it’s renewed for season 3, with Alan coming back to host. Just wondered who you’d like to see, or might expect to see, on season 3?
Comment: There’s so many reality TV stars out there, but I expect season 3’s cast to mirror this one. You’ll have some Challenge people, some Housewives, Survivor, Big Brother, etc. They’re not gonna stray from that. And I guarantee whoever it is, most will be appearing on reality TV for the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th time, etc. It’s just the way they always do these shows.

Love your podcasts. I’m a diehard Seattle Mariners fan and when you mentioned that list that someone put together about Chili’s restaurants and MLB ballparks I had to laugh. I had just seen that same thing a few days ago and without even looking I immediately knew T Mobile Park would be at the bottom. I think you had asked people to clarify? Maybe? Anyway, the nearest Chili’s is indeed about 279 miles away in Spokane, WA, on the opposite end of the state. It seems strange to me too, but we kind of get the shaft up here in the Pacific Northwest in terms of nationally popular chain restaurants so not surprised. I will say though that there is an Olive Garden 5 minutes from me! Hope all is well!
Comment: Well as long as the OG is only 5 minutes away, I won’t cross T Mobile Park off my list as an MLB park to maybe visit someday. Priorities.
