As for Hometown dates themselves, as you saw by @BachelorData’s IG post, they were shown out of order again, which is the norm. The thing about Hometowns that maybe people don’t know if they’re new to the show or have never really paid attention in the past. So lets take this seasons contestants and the order they filmed in as an example. A lot of people think on your hometown date, you go home, hang out with family and friends, and then when Joey shows up, you go on your date. It really couldn’t be further from the truth. Just like the rest of the show, you are isolated from basically everything. So Daisy filmed her hometown first. My guess is because they were in Canada in the episode before, she flew to MN and stayed at a hotel the night before her hometown. Then the first time she saw Joey was what we saw on television. Then when she walked in to see her family, that’s the first time she sees them as well. At the end of the date, she goes back to her hotel in MN with her handler, and they fly out of MN the next day for LA and then she’s in a hotel in LA with her handler for the rest of the week while the other women have their hometowns.
It’s during this time that when you’re waiting for your hometown and you’re at a hotel in LA, you’re hanging out with your handler, sometimes they’ll take you to the movies, get your hair done, go shopping, etc., but it’s always supervised. The thing that a lot of people forget is the fact that the only thing the public knows is their head shot that ABC released on the Bachelor FB page a month earlier. So you’d think maybe these women would be seen around LA when hometowns are being filmed? In the 48 seasons this show has had, not one time has any contestant ever been caught out with their handler during hometown week. I’ve never seen a picture show up online, nor has one ever been sent to me. It just doesn’t happen. Same with Happy Couple visits. We know that Kelsey has flown to LA at least 4 times since filming ended to have her secret meetups with Joey. Not once has a photo ever appeared of her in a New Orleans airport, LAX, in line at the airport, at baggage claim, etc. And you can say that for pretty much every past winner as well, yet, every season they’re coming to LA numerous times for Happy Couple weekends.
This show goes to great lengths to hide their winner. If they didn’t, we’d know it every season beyond a shadow of a doubt. They will protect that as much as possible. As for Kelsey visiting LA numerous times since November, you also gotta remember, again, most of the audience isn’t looking for her in airports because from November to January 22nd, she wasn’t on our TV sets. Only die hards who follow every day would’ve been able to see her out and maybe identify her. Ever since the show started, where she becomes more familiar and people are seeing her every Monday on their TV, sure, probably easier to identify her if you saw her out. Yet STILL, not one pic has gotten out of her anywhere during her travels since the show started. She was the one who spoiled her season by posting in the backyard of a Happy Couple house. Other than that, she’s never been identified anywhere. Same with basically every other “winner” in previous seasons. I don’t imagine that changing anytime soon, and if they are caught out, it’s going to quite a coincidence that someone who follows the show religiously just happens to see them.
As for last night’s hometowns, also, a lot of the time the houses you see on TV were rented for TV purposes. Like Kelsey’s hometown? That was a rented house. Her dad doesn’t live in New Orleans, yet there they were walking down the street in New Orleans and make a quick left and all the sudden they’re in Kelsey’s house. That was 100% rented for the shoot that day. Same with Rachel’s but they basically admitted it was when she said her Hawaii family was coming to them. Now, maybe someone in that family has a rental home in Rancho Cucamonga, but I don’t think that was the case. That looked like an Air BNB to me that they rented for the day. I don’t know about Maria’s but Daisy’s was their home since I had pictures that got out that day of people who were driving by and saw them filming that I had posted. I’d say every season there’s at least one hometown date that’s not filmed in a house that’s part of the family. They just rent them for the day, fix them up, and just shoot there for a variety of different reasons.
So Women Tell All films tomorrow in LA then airs in two weeks, which is the norm. Hopefully I’ll be able to find out what happens during the taping and I’ll relay it to you if/when I find out. But fully expect all the drama to surround Maria and the women who had an issue with her this season in Jess, Leah, and Sydney. It’s coming. Be ready.
