I hadn’t talked about farmer wants a wife the last couple of weeks because. I hadn’t watched the episodes. I got caught up on the final dates each of the four farmers had with their final two women, and then I watched the finale over the weekend. And you know when you watch The Bachelor for 48 seasons and you get to finales on a show where somebody chooses somebody and they make it, this just giant and circumstance and superlatives are flowing in that final conversation.
To watch farmer wants a wife’s finale. It just seemed so anticlimactic because you feel like these guys, I’m not saying you have to force these farmers to get engaged. Where’s the incentive for anything long lasting here. You know, the first one that they showed was Brandon and I forget that, who did Brandon choose again?
Damn it. He chose grace. That’s right over Emerson, which to me was surprising. I thought Emerson was the one he was going to choose. They seem to get along better. They seem to have more in common, but he ended up choosing grace. However, did you see after he chose her and said, whatever he said, He gave her a hug and he didn’t kiss her.
It was literally like you were hugging your cousin. He gave one of the butt out hugs. I’m like, this is the woman you just chose. It’s okay to be a little more affectionate with her, at least kiss her. It was so weird. Like I said, I’m, I guess I’m comparing everything to a Bachelor or Bachelorette finale, but that seemed so impersonal and We’ll find out what’s going on with them.
Come reunion show this week. Mitchell ended up dumping Katie and kept Sydney good for him. And he actually kissed her at the end. How about that? Congratulations, Mitchell. That one was one that I expected. I expected him to keep. Sydney, even though she’s young, I got the impression that he was into her more than Katie tie dumping, both melody and Megan should surprise absolutely no one.
And not even necessarily because of everything that’s been going around on the internet about him, but it just seemed like the whole season. What was I telling you? This guy doesn’t seem like he’s into anybody. He doesn’t seem interested in the process. It doesn’t seem like he was even there other than to, you know, Make a name for himself or something.
He just didn’t seem like he was ever going to choose anybody. And he dumped both Melody and Megan. The other thing I noticed about Ty at the final conversation with both Melody and Megan is how far he stood away from them. It was like three or four feet between them. I’m like, you can get a little closer.
I know you’re not going to choose any of them, but my gosh. And then as he sends melody away, he’s like, I’ll see you, I don’t know when, you know, I’m just like, this is again, nothing about what Ty did in the finale should surprise anybody.
Him saying that he 100 percent wasn’t there with children doesn’t think he wants to have any more and I shouldn’t keep you from having them I just have a friendship connection with you. He says that to Megan. I’m like, oh my gosh Like turn the knife a little bit more. Why don’t you tie? Yeah, this guy Again, nobody should be surprised what we saw out of tie and then Nathan picked Taylor over Ali which I definitely saw coming I never saw much of a connection with Ali You And again, at least he made out with her.
So we’re going to find out come reunion show, which was already taped, what happened between the four couples. Maybe Ty got back with somebody, but. Jennifer, it’s her name, right? The host, she asks, are you guys still together? We don’t know who she’s asking it to, but they’re going to ask it to the three couples that left the show together.
I’m pretty sure one of them isn’t together, but I’m not sure about the two others. So we’ll, we’ll see how this plays out on Thursday. Have you been watching Jeopardy masters? I’m not through the finale. I don’t know who’s winning, but I will say this for anybody who’s a Jeopardy nerd, I wouldn’t say I’m a Jeopardy nerd, but I’ll watch it.
Quite a bit. I don’t watch it seven days a week, but when they first announced Ken Jennings as the host, I was like, you know, look, nobody’s ever going to replace Alex Trebek. He’s the greatest, probably the greatest game show host there ever lived. However. Ken Jennings is actually kind of grown on me when he was a contestant.
I thought he was just such a smarmy little prick, just never liked him. I just thought he was trying to act too smart for everybody else. And look, he is smarter than a lot of people. Like I get it. But when he was in like the tournament of champions, there was something he did that drove me up a wall. Is he would love to give his answers right up against the buzzer.
And then when he got it, it’d be like, Oh, it’s like, dude, you knew it. And he gave so many answers right up against the buzzer. Or waited so long and then would always be like, Oh my God, I can’t believe it. I can’t believe I pulled that one out. It’s like, dude, but when you do it every single time, got a little old, but him as a host, I’m absolutely fine with, I think he does a really good job.
Kind of gets, keeps the show moving, throws in his little quips. But yeah, Jeopardy Masters is on right now where six of the best players currently are playing against each other. James Holzhauer, who won Jeopardy Masters last year, the guy who basically revolutionized Jeopardy by going daily double hunting and just destroying people.
He, as far out from where I am, it looks like he’s going to get to the finals at least, but I think it’s over now. So don’t tell me what happened. And finally Taylor started back up her tour. The era’s tour started back up in France this past weekend, and she eliminated six songs from the era’s tour and added seven songs from the tortured poets department, which isn’t surprising at all.
She’s got a lot of obviously shows coming up through the summer. And then basically she’s off all of September. And then I think she has two weekends in October and two weekends in November and then the first week of December. So. She will be touring for about five or six games during the chief season.
But when the chief season starts out in September, she definitely will be at chiefs game, assuming her and Travis are still together. So I looked ahead. Cause I was like, how much are we going to see her during the football season again? We’re basically going to see her in September. Won’t see her much. If at all.
In October and November games. And then we’ll probably see her in December and into January in the playoffs, depending on how long the chiefs last, but keep that in mind. I know a lot of people are freaking out. She did sing Paris in Paris, I guess that should be expected, but, I’m hearing these stories of so many Americans going over to Paris because it was actually cheaper to get tickets, book a flight and book a hotel to see Taylor in Paris than it was to see her in the U S which is just a sad state of affairs.
But apparently that’s the case. Lot of Americans went there this past weekend, and I’m sure some will be traveling to, I believe she’s in is it Scotland this weekend? I can’t remember. She said where she was going on one of her Instagram posts and I forgot. Anyway. That’s the update on Travis and Taylor.
You’ll see her in September. I’ll She’ll take October, November off cause she’s got to go do more concerts and then she’ll be back in December. Anyway. Thank you all for listening.
