I never talked about the Valley last week, episode number eight.
And I get the way these shows work. Like you have to have drama every episode. There has to be something, but it seems like. This cast and this group of people just thrive off drama and gossip and who told who what and who said this to who and who texted who this and it is just an absolute shit show.
Every single one of these people just absolutely loves the gossip and yet I can’t get enough of it. Because we already know what’s happening off air with Jackson, Brittany splitting and Jesse and Michelle, not only splitting, I’m assuming their divorce is in the process of getting finalized because they’re both dating new people now, but what a terrible marriage they had just those two.
Now, if Michelle was cheating on him with another man, an actor, producer, whatever they’re hinting at, maybe we’ll find out more in the coming episodes. But the guy that she’s with right now, isn’t an actor or producer. So I don’t know where it went off the rails for them. Seemingly it’s probably Jesse’s narcissism because that guy is completely stuck on himself and I can see where she probably got tired of him.
Plus. The mention of the fact that they had no sex life intimacy issues obviously is going to play a role in the demise of a marriage. Same thing that’s happening or happened with Jax and Brittany. This show is every episode. It’s like, Hey, I want to meet you at lunch today and I’m going to tell you something that was told to me by somebody else, but don’t say you heard it from me and don’t say and don’t bring my name up and don’t say that I told you that this person, that’s every episode and yet it’s awesome.
I also want to talk about Zach’s hair. What is that? There’s no way that that’s real hair, right? Like his hair does not move an inch. Is it stapled on? Is it a toupee? What is it? I’m so confused because it looks exactly the same every single time. It never moves. It comes down to like the top of his eyebrows.
I’m mesmerized by Zach’s hair. I truly am. And I think all of you should be too. Honestly, you should be. Something interesting that happened at the NBC upfronts this week happened yesterday during their upfronts at radio city music hall. They teased season three of traders, and yet they announced 10 of the people, roughly 10, I haven’t, I haven’t counted them.
I’ll count them right now in a second, but. I mean, this is one of the all time reality show casts, am I wrong? Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are going to be on it. Then, Jax Taylor is going to be on it. Teresa G Judas, Kenya Moore, Joe Mangianello from Magic Mike and Deal or No Deal Island, Howie Mandel, Javier Poza, Matt Eisman, Kristen Kish, honestly, I don’t know who that is, Holly Robinson Pete, and her husband, Rodney.
So that’s one, two, three, four. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. That’s 12 that they announced. We know there’s going to be probably 18 to 20. So there’s still more that haven’t been announced, but that’s 12 of the cast. And for the first two seasons of traitors, they never said the cast until after the fact. So this is new.
They’re really obviously going after some big names in the reality TV world. These are all people who have been on multiple reality shows, obviously Kenya Moore, Teresa Judas, Jax Taylor, Paris and Nicole, Joe Mangionello. I guess he’s more of a host Matt Eisman, I believe he’s the host of American Ninja Warrior, isn’t he?
I don’t know who Kristen Kish is. I don’t know who Javier Posa is. Howie Mandel, we know AGT host deal or no deal. Original host Holly Robinson, Pete and Rodney Pete. That’s the athlete factor they’re going for. Like they did last year with Deontay Wilder, but this is a hell of a cast and just interesting that they are announcing it before they even film.
And they gave us 12 of probably 70 percent of the cast already, which is really interesting. A lot of you have been asking me about Allie Fedotowsky Manno who clearly left to go film something And I don’t know what she’s filming. Some of you seem to think it’s Special Forces season three I I don’t know which one she’s doing if it’s if it is that one But she is she has left her family to go film something.
She obviously won’t give it away and I know you’ve asked me and my answer is, I don’t know. Some people are predicting it’s going to be special forces season three. So we’ll see. They’ve had very big success with casting from bachelor bachelorette for that show. I mean, Hannah Brown won season one with Carly Lloyd and Nick and Tyler won season two with Aaron Jackson.
It was those three winners, right? Was there, was there a fourth? I don’t think there was. was the three of them. I, if I’m. Missing somebody. I apologize. And finally, do you know who the equivalent of bachelor data is in the survivor world? I’ve talked, I’ve talked about it numerous times. The name of the account is survivor fact checker, and they basically do exactly what bachelor data does for bachelor, except they do it for survivor and their contestants.
And I think what’s interesting is, and it’s crazy because their post from two days ago updated everybody’s Instagram growth, 48 hour update, just like Suzanne does. Susanna, sorry. And I’m just looking at these people. Kenzie has 35, 000 followers total. No one else on this season has more than, Mmm, let’s see, 21, yeah, 21, 000.
And that’s Tiffany. And she’s off the show. Kenzie’s got 35. Q’s got 19, Venus got 15. My point being is it’s really interesting because Survivor draws more weekly viewers than Bachelor does. So it’s not like, Oh, nobody watches the show. That’s why nobody cares to follow these people. And it might just be a, you know, I’m, I’m boiling it down to its most simplistic terms.
I don’t know. What is the reason why people don’t care to follow survivor people when they have just as many followers or have just as many viewers? I guess one reason would be. I guess this is the biggest one is the fact that it is a CBS show and CBS skewers towards an older audience. I think the demo for the show is much, much higher and much, much higher age groups just aren’t on Instagram and don’t care about Instagram.
So that must be the thing, but it’s just so striking of how much, how little you gain by going on survivor as to be an influencer post show. I mean, 35, 000 for Kenzie. I mean, if she wins or if, you know, Q wins, maybe they get up to 50, which, you know, we all know Instagram isn’t really the way to go. If you want to influence anymore, it’s.
It’s mainly Tik TOK, but I’m just always baffled every year because more people watch Survivor than watch the Bachelor of the Bachelorette yet Bachelor and Bachelorette women like Daisy and Maria this season are getting 600, 700, 800, 000 followers and Survivor watched by more people. You know, people that are left on this show get to the final two, final three, final four are getting like, are maxing out at 35, 40, 000 followers.
It’s like, nobody cares. So it must be the age thing. It’s gotta be, because I know the demo for survivor is much, much higher than it is for bachelor, bachelorette, but it’s still very interesting to me. They’ve got so many good things. They time out all the confessionals. How much time, which is basically like screen time that. Susanna does for bachelor data, really, really good stuff. They have so many things there. You’re just like, you’re probably things you never thought of and charts and graphs. Really good job that this person Costa does for survivor fact checker.
