So one of the big Bachelor Nation stories making the rounds in the last couple days is the Nick and Natalie marriage and the rumors surrounding their marriage.
And look, this isn’t another, Oh, here goes RealitySteve piling on Nick Vial. That’s not it. I’ve avoided this for three weeks. Trust me. I know what’s been being said. I’ve. I’ve heard it a thousand times over, but I’m now going to talk about it because Nick talked about it. See, I could have been bad. I could have been worse the last three weeks.
And Nick went on the lady gang podcast. And so yesterday you started seeing these headlines. That said, and here’s the headline right from us weekly, Nick Viall opens up about Natalie joy, cheating accusations. And the caption says, Nick Viall got candid about rumors that his wife, Natalie joy was unfaithful during their engagement.
See what he shared on lady gang at the Lincoln bio. I think that is a little misleading. I listened to the lady gang podcast. I mean, I’ll read you some of the quotes and I, is there anybody out there that listened to the lady gang podcasts and is like me and real and said themselves. At no point did he ever deny any of this.
He didn’t say it’s true, but he didn’t deny it either. He didn’t. His answer is I’m aware of a ton of rumors about me, and I know that I’m unaware of 90 percent more because I don’t read it. I don’t read my own press. I don’t read my comments. I’m not on Reddit. I actively stay off of it and I’m just unaware of things that people say.
That Is 100 percent complete bullshit. Does he know everything? Probably not, but he knows every major thing that’s being said about him. This is a guy that contacts outlets who write negative stories about him. Geez, I’m breaking down over this. He contacts outlets who write negative stories about them and tells them to change their headlines.
I don’t want to hear that he doesn’t know what’s being said about him. He’s obsessed with what’s being said about him, but it goes to this persona that he wants to put out there that I’m just doing better than so many else. So many other people in this franchise that I don’t need to look at the negative stuff that’s said about me.
I don’t care. It doesn’t matter. I’ve got my wife. I’ve got my daughter. I’ve got my money. That’s the way he comes across to a lot of people and for him to say that he doesn’t read his own press. It’s just a lie. I can’t imagine anyone’s buying this, but in that interview with lady gang, he talked about how he’s spoken to a lot of people in bachelor nation and he knows they all do it.
See, it’s his, it’s his little dig like, Hey, they all do it, but I don’t. It’s like, yes, he does. He knows exactly what people are saying about him. Now he reacts differently than people in Batchelor Nation because people in Batchelor Nation will take the negative stuff that is said about them and then do Instagram stories or Instagram posts about it.
Nick just avoids it. I mean, I don’t know what’s worse. Cause he basically says it is what it is. You will never be able to, you can never have thick enough skin to handle what rumors are about you. He went on to say, he said, I basically, I’m not going to engage with it. When something happens, you’re just terrified of what people might be saying.
And then two days go by and people move on. You’re like, if I had just not been ever made aware about this, I would have been stressed for two or three days. And that’s what keeps me off. Social media is what he’s talking about. Again, I don’t buy it for a second. I do know that his. How he handles negative publicity is to not bring it up, but I’m not sure I necessarily agree with that.
I know everyone says, you know, any publicity is good publicity and these particular accusations that are being made on the internet. And yes, I’ve seen the Reddit post that was written about Natalie. You know, cheating on Nick during the engagement and then Harry Jousey wrote what he wrote when he said somebody went to Harry and said, Hey, Nick is killing you for how you acted on perfect match.
And Harry replied with, he can’t keep my dick out of his mouth. 50 year old man gossiping about people in their twenties dating. He should be more focused on his wife cheating on him and repairing that than worrying about me. He should. So once Harry Jousey chimed in and wrote that on one of his own posts in his comment section, that’s when the mainstream media picked it up and started running with it and why I guess he went on lady gang to tell everybody, I know what’s being said about me.
I’m just not going to talk about it now. He doesn’t know anybody, anything in regards to you. Whether he has to address this rumor or not, but I think it’s pretty rich of him to call other people out for the way he does and call other people out for the way they act. And then he just, just doesn’t reply when people call him out for the things he says and does.
I find it very interesting in terms of the whole did Natalie cheat on him or did she not cheat on him? Look, I don’t know. Have I heard the rumors? Yes, I heard these rumors years ago. I’ve never talked about it because I have no idea if they’re true or not. I can’t prove them. I don’t even know if this latest one is true or not.
Yes, I’m very well aware that Natalie’s own friends are the ones kind of behind this rumor because they have said things online that they are the ones that know and they’re Natalie’s best friends or former best friends. So if anyone can get them on record, hey, if they want to come on a podcast and spill the beans.
By, by all means, you can come on my podcast. I’ll let you talk and say exactly. Why you think or why, you know, this is a thing, but I have no proof of anything. So I’m not going to sit here and say that Natalie has or hasn’t cheated on Nick. Have I been told she has? Yes. Have I had any proof of it? No. So, you know, it’s no different.
I mean, Harry Jousey said that, but maybe Harry Jousey is just playing into the internet rumors. Yes. There are internet rumors out there that she has cheated on him or is still continuing to cheat on him. I’ve heard all the rumors. I’ve heard them for years, not just in the last month since a Reddit post went up.
I was told something four years ago. I still have it in my Twitter DMs. I never ran with it, because I couldn’t prove it. But now that it’s out there, and, you know, Nick doesn’t want to address it, I think it’s really rich of some of these headlines to say that Nick shoots down rumors. He never shot down anything.
He just never addressed it. He talked about rumors in general and was like, yeah, I just don’t talk about stuff like that because if you do, it just gives it more validity. It’s like, not necessarily. I just think the whole thing is very hypocritical. You know how I, what I think about that guy, don’t I really have any respect for him?
But on this particular subject. I have no idea if it’s true or not. I’m not going to feed into it. I’m not going to go writing under posts. Like Harry is obviously feeding into it. Maybe Harry knows something, or maybe he’s just feeding into the internet rumors. So it is a little responsible for Harry to write that.
Without any sort of proof of anything. Same thing with a Reddit post. Again, a nameless faceless person going on Reddit saying, Oh, this happened. Okay, well then show some proof because if this were happening to somebody in bachelor nation, that was actually more liked than Nick. And I’m just going to use Joey and Kelsey as an example, just because they’re the first couple that comes to my head and I know they’re both well liked if there was a rumor out there that, Oh, Kelsey cheats on Joe, everybody knows it.
It would immediately be met with, Oh my God, that’s such bullshit. Nobody, no way. We don’t believe that, but because it’s Natalie and Nick and people don’t have the greatest opinion of them, it’s turned into, well, he’s got to prove that it’s not happening. He’s got to, he’s got to address it. He’s got to talk about it.
So I’m just saying. We’ve got to handle things the same way for both parties, no matter if it comes up against somebody who’s disliked in the franchise or somebody who’s absolutely loved in the franchise. You’re very hypocritical if you don’t handle them both the same way. You got to be objective and Nick doesn’t know anything to anybody.
I do think it’s very, very weird the way he handles certain things. I don’t agree with it. As you know, not a big fan of the guy. Don’t respect him. But in this particular instance, he doesn’t know anybody, anything. For all we know. He knows about it and they’ve already worked through their problems. For all we know, maybe they have an open marriage.
So technically it’s not even considered cheating. Who knows? We don’t even know if it happened. Like I said, I’ve heard about this for years. This isn’t even just something that’s been in the last few months. I’ve heard about this for years and I never talked about it because I can’t prove it and I’m not sitting here looking to ruin a guy’s marriage and clearly.
They’re doing their thing, they’re married, they’ve got a daughter, if he wants to talk about it, he will. But clearly, he’s not going to talk about it. Finally, Drew Basile, who was on, I can’t remember what season of Survivor, was in the last couple seasons, right? He went pretty far. He is a winner right now on Jeopardy.
He’s at least won five times. I don’t know if he’s still on the show. I think he won at least five, which qualifies them for the tournament of champions. So I think that’s pretty cool. Cause we have never really seen a survivor Jeopardy crossover. Have we not many, maybe one other person’s been on Jeopardy from survivor.
When I think of drew, I just think of season 50, because when we found out in season 50, they’re going to have returnees. Most of them are probably going to be from the new era, but they did say they will have some people that not necessarily are from the new era of episodes, which is seasons 41 through 50 drew was always a guy that I thought they were going to bring back.
I mean, he’s kind of like the Steven Fishback. And you know, when I’ve talked to Steven in the past, you’ve said, you know, even on that season that drew was on, I’m like, this guy’s basically like your. Mirror image, right? You know the tall lanky guy that has got very far in the game because he’s super super smart I think it’s cool.
I hope he lasts longer on Jeopardy if he’s still there I mean, I think it’s great that he’s playing well I’d love to see him in tournament of champions and maybe even do good in that so he can be involved in the Master’s tournament, because I’d love to see him go up against James Holzhauer. How about that?
