Podcast #76 – Interview with “Survivor’s” Stephen Fishbach

    9.3K

Survivor fans, have I got the podcast for you today. Podcast #76 is with former contestant Stephen Fishbach, who is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to this show. So much fun listening to him talk about all the history and former seasons of this show that I essentially have completely forgotten. My favorite part is when I ask him 5 trivia questions and just to hear him think out loud recalling past seasons and locations and winners is crazy to hear. I guess I could do that for the “Bachelor/ette” franchise, but to hear someone else do it for another show really took me back. I was amazed at his recollection of this show. You talk about two people geeking out on one of … Continue reading

Podcast #75 – Interview with Michael Garofola & Ep 11 of the “He Said, She Said” Podcast with Sharleen Joynt

    12.4K

A very fun podcast today with Bachelor Nation veteran, and reality tv dating show veteran in general, Michael Garofola. A lot to cover since he’s been on a few shows along with his thoughts on being a diabetic and how tough it can be, along with dating in New York. Plenty of topics covered in this almost 2 hour interview. As I say, everyone’s got a story and Michael’s certainly is interesting. Of course I’ve given him sh** over the years for dating so many in Bachelor Nation, but he does say there is a method to that madness that we touch on. Just when you think it’s over with Final 10, we ramble on about sports and the wrong spoiler for Des’ season. All … Continue reading

The name of this week’s podcast guest might not jump out at you, but you can bet this is certainly one of the more interesting ones you’ll hear. Michael Carroll is a former producer on the “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” back in it’s early seasons and you may have read some of his interview in Amy Kaufman’s “Bachelor Nation” book. Once I read him, I knew I had to have him on at some point. We’ve all heard the stories, we all see some of the backlash that producers from this show get. I’m the first to call out production for certain tricks and tactics they use and these are all addressed with Michael. He’s very open and honest about his craft, what he does, how … Continue reading
