Haven’t posted since Thursday, but if you’ve been following along on Twitter, you were made aware of a couple of things. Filming went from Lake Tahoe in episode 4 to Fort Lauderdale in episode 5. Filming began Sunday in Fort Lauderdale with a 1-on-1 date for Chelsea Roy, the single mom from Portland, Maine. I’ll have more coming out about her shortly as, well, she has a bit of an interesting back story to say the least. The group date yesterday wasn’t public so don’t know what happened there yet. Pretty unreal last 48 hours. You all know about my affinity for Las Vegas. Still trying to wrap my head around what happened. My three Fan Appreciation Parties have all been at Mandalay Bay, and either year 1 or year 2 was on the 32nd floor. Will this prevent me from visiting there in the future, or even from staying at Mandalay in the future? Of course not. Chances are next year’s party won’t be at Mandalay but not because of what happened Sunday night. It’s just that I’ve wanted to change it up and go to a different venue. We’re full of “Bachelor” news today, aren’t we. You’re going to get pictures from yesterday’s date at the Grove, 5 more girls confirmed for the season, where they’re headed next, then my thoughts on the DLo/Rachel/Vanessa issue. You had to email in advance to be in attendance at the group date yesterday, and you’ll see in some of the pictures, there was a small crowd seated in front of the stage. But none of those people were allowed to take pictures as production was being very strict again.
