“Women Tell All” Spoilers
-They picked random people out of the group and gave them T-shirts and red hats with “Make America Corrine again” and T-shirts that said “Intelligency” with a red circle with a line through it, “Vagine” in silver with an arrow pointed down, “Emotional Intelligence is my jam,” and “#teamcorn” stuff. They’re making it seem like people came dressed that way, but they didn’t. Producers handed it out for people to wear. They also dressed someone up in a shark suit.
-Brittany Farrar (the girl in the leaf bikini on the wedding date) wasn’t part of the WTA on stage, but actually was watching from the audience. The night before the WTA, she sent tweets out (in 3 separate tweets) saying: “Apparently being in a happy non bachelor relationship and having 0 desire to be on bachelor in paradise disqualifies one from being a part of the women tell all.” Then she did a middle finger emoji. So they let her come, but didn’t let her on stage. And if you’ve followed her IG account, she’s been posting plenty of pics from the day we saw her get eliminated on the show of her and her boyfriend. I guess that’s why they didn’t let her on as part of the panel.
-First thing to note is that Rachel did not sit up on stage with all the other girls during the filming. She wasn’t brought out until the very end.
-Liz was the first girl on the hot seat, and is basically loved by all the other girls now. She talked about how women needed to support other women, and because she had a one night stand with Nick, women need to own their sexuality and not get shamed for it. Said she tried to see Nick after the one night stand but it didn’t work out, and the girls are defended her.
-Taylor was the next person up on the hot seat, and things didn’t go nearly as well for her. Hailey and Astrid were one of the only ones to stick up for her as a lot of girls went after her, namely Josephine and Lacey, who were apparently on a mission at the taping to make a name for themselves so they can be on Paradise. Jasmine also was someone who went after Taylor, and kinda was talking most of the night. Chris Harrison apparently had a hard time getting her to be quiet. She said that she wasn’t there as a therapist but just as a woman, but she ended up being judged as a therapist and that put into question her work. Taylor said she made two close friends and stuck with them. Taylor said she doesn’t drink at all and felt left out because it was hard to join in on things when she was the only sober one.
Taylor tried to make peace with Corinne by just asking her to acknowledge that what she said was hurtful. Of course, Corinne was having none of that. At one point, Corinne walks off stage all upset, but then ends up coming back with a glass of champagne and passing it around while Taylor was talking. Chris Harrison was trying to get Corinne to own what she did, but Corinne basically wasn’t having any of it. The girls came hard after Taylor and it apparently was really bad. The girls were on her for acting like she was better than everyone else and keeping to herself and her close friends, who judging by the taping where Hailey and Astrid. They also accused Taylor of never giving Corinne a chance. However…
-Corinne was on the hot seat next, and right after the girls jumped all over Taylor, they didn’t spare Corinne either. Both Danielle’s, Astrid, Whitney, and Jasmine were some that were all over her. Kristina and Sarah both said that Corinne asked for people to take their complaints to her directly, but when they did she’d just get mad. Yes, the point I continuously made all season. Hey ladies, thanks for reading the site! The girls were asking her to explain the nanny thing, they attacked her on napping, and stealing Nick away. Since Lacey and Josephine were anti-Taylor, they of course had to come to Corinne’s defense. Corinne got defensive and acted like a child. Chris Harrison somehow got Taylor to get up and give Corinne a hug, they did, but it didn’t come across as sincere. Taylor tried to bury the hatchet but Corinne really didn’t seem like she was interested.
-Kristina was last up on the hot seat and pretty much liked by everyone. The girls gave her a standing ovation when she walked up. She cried talking about her journey and Chris Harrison was very complimentary of her.
-Nick came out next. Rachel still hadn’t appeared by this point. Lacey confronted Nick (geez, how much alcohol did they pump into a girl who lasted 2 episodes for her to be so vocal?), and said that the last talk she had with him, all he asked about was Josephine. He said he was just trying to find his way and sometimes the conversations were hard and he reached for things to talk about. Uhhhh, ok. Great answer. The perfect Nick avoidance answer.
-Danielle Lo cried, and told him she was shocked to be let go and Kristina was pretty hard on him too. Said he never gave her a chance. Those two were the most upset and still seemed bothered by the break up. Danielle M. said she was fine, and that when it got down to it, they didn’t have a connection. Alexis talked about being in the friend zone, but they had fun and they were great as friends. Liz and him had an awkward talk, but he just said he never felt right with her because she had her chance and he was suspicious of her motives. Corinne barely talked to him and said she was fine. And why wouldn’t she be? She accomplished her goal on the show. No need to dwell on it 3 months after the fact.
-Nick left and Rachel came out. Crowd loved her and she said all the right things. After a segment with her talking about her time with Nick, then bring Nick back out to talk to her and she said she was heartbroken when he let her go, but now she has 30 guys lined up for her and she’s all better. Nick was complimentary of her, said she’d do great, and played the role he should’ve.
-So overall, the people that really pushed to be noticed were Lacey, Josephine, and Jasmine. Danielle Lo came off very well apparently as sweet and sensitive. However, this is now the second time she’s cried about the show since filming ended 3 months ago, so you really wonder how much of this is an act.
That’s basically the show in a nutshell. Corinne will be the center of attention again as most of the drama on stage centered around the Corinne/Taylor feud. You knew they weren’t letting that one go. And they didn’t. So next week we’ll get Rachel and Vanessa’s overnight date, the rose ceremony where he eliminates Rachel who is shocked, and FINALLY, for the first time all season, we will be caught up. When the finale airs on March 13th, we won’t have the leftovers of the previous episode to start out. It’ll just be Raven vs. Vanessa in a battle that has been a forgone conclusion for a while now. As I’ve said numerous times, since the day I posted the spoiler 4 days after they were done filming in Finland, I’ve moved on from it. It’s not a guess, it’s not a prediction, it’s what happened. I’m working on getting you some of the guys for Rachel’s season and have been since January. I will release a few the day after Nick’s finale airs. Of course, guys can always get cut at the last minute, but the ones I have are definitely set to be out there on opening night. I’ve got about a 1/3 of the cast so far.

First to comment….aka most bored at work.
Oscars….I don’t think anyone has ever blamed Warren Beatty. I think it’s been a pretty clear story from the beginning that accounting dude caught being star struck, handed Warren the duplicate envelope from the Best Actress category. Over it. Moving on….
DWTS…if you think a sexy man like Maks is going to be threatened by a twit like Nick, certainly no one is going to buy that. Maks is insanely hot and Nick is not. The end. Even though I’m sure Nick can dance, he is not well known or liked, so let’s hope he goes away quickly.
Taylor….proving once again that mental health professionals are often the most mental of all.
Who is Lacey?
I’m definitely Team Rachel in the Vanessa/Rachel feud. Rachel has proven herself to seem mature and reasonable thus far, so I’m going to go with that. Vanessa seems like a princess and acts like one too…so there’s that.
Corinne is a fine example of poor parenting. Her emotional growth is stunted and I blame her parents.

I actually know of Lacey personally because she went to my college and was in my sorority. I graduated the year before she joined, but we know a lot of the same people because of the sorority connection. From what I have heard, she has been seriously promoting herself on Instagram and Twitter, befriending other Bachelor people like Leah Block, Olivia Caridi, and Izzy Goodkind and faking her friendship with Corinne because she really wants to go on Paradise and become more famous from this show. That’s probably why she was so vocal/loud at WTA and going out of her way to make her presence known to viewers. She became Corinne’s BFF on the show in order to have that chance to be on Paradise. She’s incredibly fake and obsessed with Bachelor fame, so expect to see her on Paradise if she’s asked to be on it. She’s been posting pics left and right with guys and girls from the franchise.

I love/hate the idea of Nick being on DWTS. Obviously, I’m so over him being on my TV screen but I think this could be a blow to his ego. This will be the first time he will truly be able to tell if people like him. As Reality Steve has said, it never matters who the Bachelor is, people are going to watch the show. On DWTS people will actually have to like him enough to vote and I’m just not sure I see that happening. I will expect him to finish middle to bottom third. Chris made it surprisingly far but I think people liked him more and I think Witney has more of a fan base than Peta does. It will be interesting. And I secretly (not so secretly?) hope he gets eliminated early on to bring him down a notch.

It’s not a revelation to say that Nick and Vanessa won’t last. But could it be any more obvious this time? Nick as much as said, to her face and to her family, that he wasn’t planning on moving to Canada. Quite obviously he’s in LA already and landed the DWTS gig, so he’s right on track for what he wanted. I can’t quite figure out Vanessa, though. I imagine she’ll hitch up to the gravy train for a bit, and she does seem emotionally invested (at least that’s how it’s been edited).
But she seems very, very tight with her family. So I don’t see anyway that she doesn’t end up back in Montreal. I’ve seen this scenario play out in real life plenty of times where someone moves for a boyfriend/girlfriend and is tight with the family. Sure enough, they’re back inside of 6 months saying “well, that just wasn’t working”. It’s also tough to end up in a strange town with no friends and no job. You essentially have to start all over again re-constructing your life. Either that, or in Vanessa’s case, she’ll probably just be following Nick around like a puppy dog as he does his thing. People do pull it off, and it can work, but I don’t see Vanessa being able to pull it off. She’ll be homesick within a month. Probably sooner. And that’s not even factoring in the level of Nick’s REAL interest in her, which probably is not that high.
I thought Ben & Lauren had a decent shot at it. They moved in together and did truly seem interested in making it work. So, if they’re not making it, then certainly Vanessa and Nick are doomed. I don’t even see how the crazies can feel good about them making it.

I wonder if this is why Nick chose Vanessa? To feel less guilty about dumping them? Pick someone who you can justify hurting that won’t ruin your image (like Corinne). Also, pick someone you can have a “good” breakup with, using the distance as a factor it’ll still be “awww! Poor Nick.” If he picked someone like Kristina, Danielle M., or Raven, chances are he might think he’d be vilified for hurting the wounded birds (I love them, I don’t mean that to be insulting, I’m just saying they come off as very sweet with emotional back stories).

I’m also told that the tweet Vanessa sent out the night Rachel was announced as the “Bachelorette” congratulating her was another example of how Vanessa operated. You might be right but seems to me you get your informations from only ONE ise. I am no fan of Vanessa nor Rachel especially. I find she comes off fake. But remember, there is always 3 sides to a story, Vanessa’s side, Rachel’s and the truth. Plus the girls this season come off to me as mean girls. They’re like in high school and suck ass to the most popular girl ( in this case Rachel being the new bachelorette ) Worst group of girls.

We must travel in different circles, Steve, I haven’t heard anyone blame Warren Beatty for the mix-up.
Everyone I’ve talked with sees it as a graphic design misstep. This is the second time now that a painful mixup has happened due to poor graphic design that caused problems for people who had to read the announcements.
In the case of the Oscars, they had red envelopes with gold lettering on them, in rather small font. They’re standing in semi-darkness in the wings, a lot of times the person reading is older with the typical difficulties seeing text clearly. Large, black, serif font, no italics, on a white background – even on a label, if they insist a white envelope isn’t as good a visual – would probably completely solve the problem in the future.

Doesn’t Melissa Rycroft count as a female appearing on DWTS?

I think nick and Vanessa will have a difficult road ahead but if they stay the course they may survive especially if he is not on dwts too long but the longer he is on dwts the more money he earns to pay for either a new home for him and Vanessa or pay for their wedding because Ben and Lauren are first in line for a televised wedding and possibly Evan and Carly next both rumored to happen either this year or next; kaitlyn and Shawn are low on the totem pole for a televised wedding so nick and Vanessa may be above them if Ben and Lauren don’t get another chance for a televised wedding before Evan and Carly.

@RaRa, I guess you could count Melissa, but she was only on the show because someone got hurt. She also wasn’t a Bachelorette. I always thought that was ABC throwing her a bone for the humiliating After the Final Rose.

kmannone: wedding? Nick and Vanessa aren’t getting married. If they make it all the way to the end of DWTS that would be a minor miracle. Any way you look at it, Vanessa will be back in Montreal before the end of the summer. Ben & Lauren are on their last leg according to all the evidence out there right now. Evan & Carly aren’t getting a televised wedding and it is really doubtful that Shawn & Kaitlyn will either, if they make it to the alter at all. They don’t have the backing of he show.
Nope. No televised weddings anytime soon.

Why all the analysis about Corinne? I gleamed what I needed to know from her comment in the first episode that “guys don’t listen to me”.
It seems Steve failed to connect the dots and identify this season’s theme. All tied together, we had Liz’s past with Nick, Corinne’s behavior, Raven’s admission and everything leading up to her fantasy suite date, Andi’s advice, and apparently some further discussion on the WTA.

I do think Corinne is key in analyzing this show. No guy serious about “happily ever after” would be attracted to Corinne. At least no high quality guy would be. I personally found her repulsive, which made her completely unattractive to me. I did allow me to feel some sadness for her & the obviously horrible parenting that got her to this point. But she’s a hot mess that nobody is looking for.
Although Corinne could have been dragged to the F4 by the producers, Nick’s highly positive reaction to her tells us everything we need to know. He’s either not serious about marriage, not a quality guy (so unsuitable as a marriage partner), or both. I’ll let you decide which.

On the Corinne and Taylor feud, it was a misunderstanding I believe. Each side could have said and done things a little bit differently. First off, what Taylor should have used different words other than “emotional intelligence”. What I think Taylor meant to say was words along the lines of how Corinne’s actions on dates just weren’t respectful to the other girls. If that’s not what she meant, she should have specifically stated an example and not used jargon. Corinne obviously took meaning and hurt from the word “intelligence”.
For example, in medical field, you never ask a patient what their “diet” consists of. To a medical person, diet just means what you are consuming (whether it be pizza or vegetables). To a patient, a diet implies they are watching what they are eating or that you are calling them fat. Same deal with saying “emotionally intelligent” versus using a more tactful verbiage. Also, why did she assume that Corinne “needed help”? Corinne was just an immature girl who liked attention. Corinne did say a lot of rude/bullying things about Taylor after that fact, instead of trying to understand a different viewpoint and understand Taylor probably didn’t mean ill will and didn’t realize how what she said came off as condescending.
