I’ve upgraded my life. My scooter life that is. From last Friday to yesterday, I had a fairly basic scooter I got off Amazon. It was $150 and did what it was built for. It got me around the house, which is the only place I’ve been since surgery a week ago. I haven’t left my house. However, it was pretty wobbly, and I’ve stumbled a couple times. Just didn’t feel safe enough on it, so I doled out $400 and got myself one with all terrain wheels and shocks. Got it put together yesterday and it’s SO much better than the original one. Today I plan on going outside for the first time and honestly just kinda scooting around the neighborhood just to be outside. I’m not worried about going over any sort of bump. The other one I would no doubt go flying over the handlebars if I hit something, even pretty small. This one is so much more sturdy, holds more weight, and doesn’t get thrown off track so easily. If you have a lower leg injury to where you need a scooter, if you have the means available, I would highly suggest investing more for a top of the line scooter. It’s worth it. This is your health we’re talking about. Basically what I’m trying to tell you is I’m going off roading on this thing. Kidding.

The Daily Roundup is now up where I talk about the TV schedule for the “Bachelorette” the rest of the season, that Nate Disney VIP Tour, and a detailed breakdown of the “Bachelor Party” podcast from last week.

We finally got the TV schedule for the rest of the “Bachelorette” season, which is something we’ve been waiting for. And as I suspected a couple weeks ago, Monday Night Football the first 2 weeks of the season is definitely forcing the “Bachelorette” to change their schedule for their last 2 weeks. Here’s the remainder of the schedule:

Episode 7: Hometowns — Monday, Aug. 22
The Men Tell All special — Monday, Aug. 29
Episode 8: Fantasy Suites — Monday, Sept. 5
Episode 9: Fantasy Suites — Tuesday, Sept. 13
Episode 10: Finale — Tuesday, Sept. 20
The After The Final Rose live special — Tuesday, Sept. 20

So the show moves to Tuesday for its last two episodes. I guess the only oddity, if that’s what you want to call it, is that the Fantasy Suites episodes are covering two episodes and one is on Monday and the other on Tuesday.

I address it briefly in one the “Reader Emails” this week, but if you want a detailed breakdown of what I thought of the “Bachelor Party” podcast last week that seemed to take a lot of shots at me last week, it’s on today’s Daily Roundup. Yeah, it sucks they went there and I feel it’s necessary for them to be called out. Once Emma and Claire Fallon went on their podcast this week (namely Emma because she was the “Bachelor Party” guest), and basically doubled down and didn’t take anything back from what she said or at least correct herself for the factually incorrect statements she said, I decided I needed to finally speak on this in detailed form, since you’ve heard me just allude to it over the last week numerous times. Give a listen if you’re so inclined.

I agree with many of the emails that there hasn’t been enough time to develop any relationships. Unless the leads are getting time with the guys outside of what we’re shown, I don’t get how anyone could have true deep feelings. There have been so few one on one dates and canceled dates and parties, I wonder how either women and the men even know each other at all.

I wholly agree with you jlal. Watching the show on Monday I found it difficult to believe that Gabby had a connection with any of her remaining men that was strong enough to warrant an engagement. All along, I felt the only one she seemed to have any chemistry with was Nate. It kind of reminds me of Desiree’s season when it was obvious she was so head-over-heels in love with Brooks. She’s seemed broken after her break-up date with Nate. The only other guy she expressed being drawn to was Jason, but evidently he leaves on his own accord? I just don’t see a connection with her and Erich at all. That engagement surely won’t last. At least with Rachel we’re some valid connections, mostly with Tino and Zach, but t least her ending seems plausible. I feel badly for Gabby. Seems like she drew the short straw this season. She’s has so many setbacks and many cancelled dates/cocktail parties. It’s a shame. I really enjoyed the first couple episodes with the two women interacting more. Once they split up the guys and separated, the show started to seem so disjointed. Let’s face it, it’s a big enough stretch believing an engagement can take place for a single lead over the course of an 8-week season, with two 1-on-1 dates every episode and one group date. How the heck can they develop strong feeling having one 1-on-1 date each week??

Don’t forget the part stink was cussing out the producers when he didn’t get the group date rose. Scary!

Yes, his sense of entitlement was chilling. That’s not going to go down well with Rachel when she starts seeing it because she seems to have healthy boundaries.
